Pool was a bit small. Trance/ pool party on Saturday night not my vibe. Was done by 10pm so not a major issue.

Very friendly helpful staff. Clean. Mostly pretty quiet, large room.

When we told the receptionist that we were on our honeymoon she gave us a bigger room, so sweet! Nice, big room. Nice swimmingpool and outside area!

a small remark to improve the room would be to provide 2 small abjures next to the bed, a way to remove the curtains that were always closed because there was no way to open them and to provide and air dryer. these three things would be useful and let the place be perfect. another small remark, clarify online that the name is mezcal hostel but there you will find it with another name which i don't recall at the moment. this was a bit confusing to find the facility.

i liked that the hotel was well connected. plenty of activities ans spaces inside for different activities: alone, with other people, with friends, partner. you could have privacy but also the space to meet people. Amazing restaurant, amazing staff including the cleaners. is not well advertised, it was a very good hotel!

Nobody was at the reception at 5:30am for the check out (door closed and 20$ deposit to get back). We said the day before that we would leave at 5:30am to take the bus and flight. No answer after ringing the bell and phone call, I went all around the hostel to find someone and at the end I found the staff at the pool drinking beers.

Next to ADO bus station. Swimming pool.

The showers don't swallow water properly.

Close to the bus station, in the area with more local people, the pool area is nice, well equipped kitchen to use.

The pool wasn't clean but we probably wouldn't use it anyway.

The staff was very helpful and warm and gave us a lot of other tips for our travel in other places. The room was big and clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice garden wit a lot of space to relax. Definitely recommend, especially since it was quite cheap.

The shower was cold and the pressure was quite poor. The plug sockets in the room weren't well-placed.

The vibe around the hostel was great. It has a lovely courtyard area with picnic benches and loungers by the pool. The building itself is unique and the rooms are nicely decorated. Our room was off a secluded little courtyard which was really lovely. The staff were really helpful with suggestions around the area.

The room was right next to the pool so people would walk directly outside our window, so we felt like we had no privacy. The toilet didn't seem clean either.

Location was close to the ADO bus stop as well as local busses to get around the area easily. Friendly staff and the room size was good. There were multiple common areas to chill out in or get some work done as well if needed.

The website needs updating right away! The website goes by the old name Mezcal Hostel and does not mention the new changed name to "Enigmatic" which is now in bold and lighted signage outside the hostel to see it after dark, as it is located off the main street, in a dark and residential area..but I didn't know of the name change and so walked past it and around the neighbourhood after dark by myself, a bit unnerving, with my things, searching for "Mezcal Hostel" as in the website, passing by "Enigmatic" not knowing it was actually the Mezcal Hostel! Very confusing to search for, especially after a hot and tiring day of travel to get there. A staff person from OXO nearby kindly took me to Enigmatic and then of course, I understood the name of the Hostel had been changed.

All of the front desk staff were very friendly, informative and helpful. The restaurant was and walkways and other areas were all beautiful (my friends back home were shocked that a hostel could look so good and offer a restaurant and bar too!) and the menu looked good, however I had my heart set on Italian food in Cancun so...The website said the bar was closed so I was happy to find out when I got there that was not the case and the bar was open, yay! And another reason to update their website!

No curtain/door in the shower, the water comes out everywhere when you take a shower. There is also nothing to wipe after that. On the ground floor it was a little smell of humidity that didn't go away even when opening the windows.

Spacious room, beautiful and large territory of the hostel with many amenities that we unfortunately didn't have time to use, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location - can get anywhere by bus from ADO station, bunch of food options nearby including grocery store. When we entered the room, we were pleasantly surprised by its style.

Didn't get much of a tour when I got there and the place is a but of a maze. Not a big deal but would've been good.

The place has everything and it was super quiet and chill. Would've stayed longer if I was staying in cancun.

Restaurant and bar was closed. If they will be open will be great place to stay and hang out and socialize!

Nice place for couple of nights to stay. Staff was lovely and always there ready to help. Dorm was comfy and enough space for everybody. Even location is close to centre and ADO bus station which is great for backlackers.

Mattresses are a bit hard. Restaurant and bar of the hostel were closed.
