it was a bit noisy sometimes. dog barking, loud engines from the street. there was noise from upstairs, sounded like someone was rolling their suitcase and walking in high heels and I could hear it clearly. the pot we used to boil water had a funky residue in it, and even after we washed it, the second time still had some strange residue that rose to the top of the boiling water and stayed there.

the decor of the room was beautiful, very spacious with kitchen. it was very easy to check in, even though there wasn't an official lobby. the rooftop area was well decorated. the pool was very aesthetic, although i'm not sure if it was really big enough to swim in. just big enough to take a cooling dip.

The bed was too hard for us, and the staff kept forgetting to replenish the coffee pods in the morning. There is no lobby and the staff is only there at certain times of the day.

We had literally an apartment sized room with a living room and a kitchen. It is very quiet and in great location. Beautiful decoration. The staff was very pleasant and helpful when they were there. Highly recommend as long as you don't expect a more traditional hotel service. Very clean and great amenities.

Great location! The pool is beautiful and nice to have to cool down in the middle of the day when it gets too hot. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. The check in process was extremely smooth and the electronic locks were great. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The architecture of the building is stunning and the rooftop is also amazing.

Nicest place I've ever stayed. We had the deluxe suite with two bedrooms and private terrace. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in (besides my own). Devine aesthetics and soothing space. Felt private and secluded. The pool. The welcome mezcal shots. Would go back in a minute.

No coffee machine in the room - but there was plenty of options nearby so not a big issue.

Perfect location, within a few minutes walk of the very centre of Oaxaca. It is a very boutique hotel with exceptional finishes and a very modern feel. The swimming pool is a real bonus during the hot afternoons and the staff were all very helpful.

What a fantastic place. The property is quiet, secure and peaceful. The staff is AMAZING. Attentive, kind, and overwhelmingly helpful. I left 1500 dollars out and when it was found they left me a note letting me know that they had put my money in the safe. What incredible people and an incredible property. Everything I needed they provided, and the space itself was beautiful - filled with art and possessing a level of craftsmanship that is hard to fathom. I did not know how great a decision I had made when I picked this place to stay, but what a pleasant surprise - they were, it is - far better than I could have imagined.

It is advertised as a 5* hotel, but actually it is a modern concept of an Airb&b. No check-in or checkout, but always somebody present in the house, very friendly, but only spanish speaking. We did not 😬. We missed a fridge in the room since there is no beverage or food available on the premises. Laying at the pool or on your terrace with no drinks is a pitty…

Not a criticism but a suggestion, it would be lovely to have a small honesty bar by the pool, so guests could grab a cold drink whilst they were relaxing!

Beautifully designed and tasteful rooms. Brilliant location close to the centre of Oaxaca but still pretty quiet. Lovely to have the pool in the afternoons. The host helped us out with a great mezcal tour too. Very good value for money for the quality of the accommodation.

More amenities like morning espresso or some food options. Water in the rooms or a large area where we could fill up on water. This feels more like an Airbnb with self-check in and no restaurant options, but plenty nearby outside of the hotel.

Very beautiful hotel- not really a hotel more of a small boutique house- with lots of great design. Pool was small and quiet for the hot days and we had a terrace which was nice.

Some details on check-in and check-out show some marks of being a newer hotel. Address listed did not have a number associated with street, and we had difficulty checking in, as the gate is locked and there was no way to contact staff inside (phone number listed online did not connect and no doorbell), which lead to about 20min wait outside the hotel. Additionally, check-out time was listed incorrectly on Booking, and staff knocked our door an hour early.

Incredible hotel room. Really hit the mark on modern, clean, with great cultural details. Staff was very attentive and friendly, great welcome cocktail. The room is very comfortable, spacious, and relaxing, AC functions well, bed was comfortable, and shower worked great and we loved the robes and slippers. The pool area is also a wonderful place to unwind, it gets good shade in the hot part of the afternoon. It was a little too cool to swim when we visited, but I bet the pool would be incredible in the hotter months, and it looked clean and well taken care of.

Not the property, but because the property was new, we couldn’t find a website and it was not on Google maps so our taxi from the airport did not know where it was.

The property was gorgeous, clean and safe. There was a beautiful rooftop as well which was a pleasant surprise. José was so helpful and accommodating. The hotel got us a crib for our 5 month old baby. Our room was huge and very comfortable. The pool was a nice break from the heat. The location was perfect to walk everywhere. Cannot recommend enough.
