Would suggest a very soft lighting option when you want a peaceful bedtime relaxing mood.

The room and shower room plus balcony was great layout and had a nice feel. Large open shower was very nice. The complimentary coffee and water and bikes was really amazing.

Everything was perfect

We had a wonderful stay at little Gem. The room was really spacious and clean and we enjoyed having the balcony as well. It is situated quite close to a nice street with restaurants and cafes in the la veleda area of Tulum. It only took us 5-10 minutes to walk there. The staff was so nice and and helpful and the kids were thrilled at the towel animals made up every day by the cleaners. We were a little worried about arriving late by car because others had written about the poor road but it is actually no problem as it is only the very last 5 meters or so that are unpaved with big potholes. We could park right outside the hotel.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a lovely sanctuary with a delicious cafe and coffee shop directly across the street. Only 10 minutes from the beach. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful room and facilities, nice location away from the louder touristy part of tulum but still close to plenty of restaurants etc. Free bike rental, and very nice and helpful staff that gave us plenty of tips for tulum and the surrounding area.

Electricity was cut from 6 am to 2 pm in all Tulum, very inconvenient. We had to take cold showers.

Hotel was fine. Staff was great. Our rental car 's battery died. Both the employee in charge and the manager from Argentina helped us, by giving us a jump and borrowing the cables and took us over where our car was

Thre noise of the building site - it was unbearable and the hotel could have compensated for the inconvenience of having to leave all day

There’s nothing not to like about it.

I liked everything. The rooms are beautiful, bed was comfortable, and the balcony with pool view very nice. For breakfast there’s a little café right across the road, where you get a discount as a hotel guest, I prefer this to each and every hotel breakfast I’ve had in my life (well, except for the Taj Palace in Bombay, perhaps).

Nothing to complain about the hotel. Just bring mosquito spray (as everywhere in Tulum) and be prepared for unpaved roads (as there are still many in that area).

Very nice little hotel, very clean and with super friendly and helpful staff that gave great recommendations for excursions, restaurants and places at the beach. The hotel is in walking distance (ca 15mins) to the centre, and you can borrow bicycles to go the centre or the beach. Close by the hotel you find many bars, restaurants and cafés. The area felt safe to walk, also at night.
