Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MexicoThe worst part was the breakfast. There are only two options, which doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. However, the buffet was underwhelming and not at the level of a 5-diamond resort. Many things were missing and the food was rather cheap and low quality. It wasn't any different from a 5-star buffet. The second breakfast option is à la carte at Terraza. However, the menu is very small. Over the days, my partner and I tried almost all the dishes and nothing was great. We were also underwhelmed by the steakhouse and the Japanese restaurant. Nothing special and at the Japanese restaurant everything was very salty. We did love the sashimi!
The service is amazing! Every single employee goes out of their way to offer the best experience. You can tell the staff is very well-trained. The beds are comfortable, and the included Spa hydrotherapy was very relaxing. Love the view from the main pool. The French restaurant Lumière was by far our favorite. Each dish was impressive and delicious.

United KingdomThe other guests were loud at late night.
This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in, we loved every detail of it from the beautiful beach through to the espresso&chocolate bar to their phone application which you can use to order anything to your room. Special thanks to the staff and a supervisor lady Marianah, who made our honeymoon unforgettable. They pay a lot of attention to their guests and their requests.

United StatesThe only thing that comes to mind are the sales pitches. No one wants to see salespeople pushing memberships and discounted rates while on vacation.
Loved the diversity of food, helpful staff, and great room views.

United StatesThe sales pitches. Right as you barely check in and then again as you are leaving. Very offputting. I would not expect an establishment of this type to act like a timeshare conversation. I felt the sales person was a little bit pushy and definitely irritated that we didn’t want to hear the rest of the sales pitch at breakfast. Completely turned me off from this resort. There are so many other options that I’m sure are also very beautiful without that sales pressure.

United StatesThey kept pushing their membership program. Everything was exceptionally overpriced for the extras. I had a great few days there, but I wouldn't go back.
The pool and the beach were great. We didn't find a spot at the pool for the first 3 days, but on our last day we got a spot.

UkraineIf we really stretching - location, because ocean is not really swimmable, at best we saw "yellow" flag. But there's plenty of room in the pools and this was not an issue for us.
Basically everything. It's not 10/10 exceptional, you will be able to find some minor nit-picks if you really want to most likely, for example - restaurants are perfectly fine. Exceptional, surprising? No. Perfectly fine. But overall - it was absolutely wonderful. Exactly what we wanted and needed.

United States1. dress code at the restaurants (bella and Lumiere). I think the resort is so chic in a way but the dress code is so dated. women they don’t care about so much but… it’s 2023 and there are so many ways for men to look nice without a collared shirt and pants. they should lean more towards the trendy side so the resort would feel mature but still young. 2. The French restaurant was a MISS. I love French food but Lumiere wasn’t great, and while the staff was VERY VERY kind, they were talking wayyyy too much. constantly interrupting my conversation with my husband just to SLOWLY reiterate every single ingredient in every dish that came to the table… like we saw the menu and picked our food- we know what we ordered. there are so many courses so it just got annoying. they also serve you an amuse Bouche that they stand there and watch you eat every single thing waiting for you. kind of awkward when you don’t like it and they’re watching you not enjoy it. they also over hype every dish. bread that they come to the table with fancy butter, was just average bread with butter IMO but it’s such a show and talking about it like it’s out of this world. honestly it felt like they were trying too hard to be unique with the food and it missed the mark. also hard to enjoy your company when you have to take a million breaks for them to talk, give a presentation and serve you. in room dining breakfast was not great either. can’t speak for any other in room dining though. they got the scrambled eggs wrong and way over salted. plus a poached egg was completely cooked through. we ended up getting dressed and going downstairs. but they were very kind about the mishap and want to make everything right for you all the time. very good service! 3. BED and pillows - way too soft. like no support and woke up a bit achey. was still able to sleep but not sure if I stayed longer how I’d feel. room temperature was like cold but humid.
Not usually a big fan of all inclusives but we wanted a place to get away for the weekend without having to think about much and not worry about bills etc. But let me tell you.. most all inclusive resorts just disappoint us to the point we expect that and have accepted it as something to go to when you just want to sleep through the weekend but still get sun and not move around off property etc. But Le Blanc really impressed us! the food, service, rooms and their attentiveness was incredible. everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying everything. there are multiple pools, nice stretch of beach, and everyone is so kind. We didn’t opt for their breakfast sales pitch for credits etc because it didn’t seem worth it, but upon leaving they asked us if we wanted to purchase a deal to come back within 18 months. We were already talking about coming back so we bought 2 of the deals (but you get that money back when you come back!). RESTAURANTS - Yama (Japanese) and Bella (Italian) were our favorites. we are big foodies from NY and while the Japanese wasn’t 5 star.. it was very good for what it’s worth! they even had Toro, ikura etc but also had Chinese food options with fried rice/ Szechuan pork etc. Italian, we went just to try but honestly it was really good as well. I’ve had pretty bad experiences out of the country with Italian food but this one was great! I would skip the burrata though. You can order the snack food or terraza restaurant by the pool or beach. we loved the grilled cheese, chicken skewers (surprisingly was not dry at all). fried fish was unfortunately over fried and too hard. shrimp quesadilla was cool.. hardly any shrimp mostly cheese but did the job of a quesadilla. it’s all inclusive so try everything lol ROOMS- well lit. clean, beautiful and spacious.
