The location was a little bit of a walk away from the main area. The doors of our room were also left open all day/evening so when we arrived there were lots of mosquitos.

The room I booked was damp/moldy. I am very sentí is to mold and after an hour in it I had a headache, burning sinuses, dizziness and a stomach ache. The reception staff offered me another room next door which was the same, then arranged for me to move into an upstairs room that was much better. This room was not available for the whole of my stay so they organised a refund for the final night.

The staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. They helped with room changes, refund, tours and even with advice for my onwards journey. The reception staff also seem to be in charge of the pool maintenance and cleaning too, they do everything and still do it with a smile on their face. Nothing is too much trouble and they are great.

Our room had no window possible to open and probably for that reason the air in the room was very humid and the room itself was rather smelly. Breakfast provided was quite basic.

The location is very close to a bathing spot on the lagoon, a bit far from bus station but still walkable distance and also a bit far from places to eat. Nice pool.

Not the fault of the hotel but other guests were noisy and woke us in the night - the sound echoes through the downstairs corridor. It was a longer walk than expected into the town but was a lovely town.

Chilled out pool and bar area, stylish rooms and nice breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cafe on the corner just down the road has lovely food and drink.

Everyone working at the hotel is super nice and helpful - we arrived a bit early for our check-in and they looked after our bags whilst we were chilling in the pool, and helped us booking a boat tour on the lagoon. The room was clean and very spacious. The closest playa is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel, the Zocalo about 10 minutes, and there are lots of really nice restaurants, cultural centres and bars around -- it's a great quite but lively location.

Great pool, very large rooms with nice hot showers. Breakfast was good and the pancakes were delicious. Staff was very friendly and also took care for our laundry for a good price. The hotel is close to a public area for the lake where you have to pay 20 pesos and then you can spend here all day. Walking to the main center is about 15-20 minute walk which is a little longer. You could also take a taxi. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Newish tastefully decorated boutique style hotel. The pool- not huge, but sparkling, attractive tiled pool-ideal for a cool off. Hammocks over the pool give an elegant vibe. The dining/bar area by the pool is compact and funky. The bedroom had 2 queen size beds and very comfy.

Everything, the staff were great, nothing was too much trouble and always arranged immediately. Very friendly and helpful. I had a great room for several weems with my own private Jaccuzi, wonderful in the evening before bed and again early morning. Food was excellent too. 10 out of 10 all round.

The windows in the toilet and shower are not closeable, there is only a mosquito net and wooden gutters so people cannot see through. That means you can hear everything from outside (no loud music as it was not close to any bars, but dogs and traffic). The fact that they are open also means that the room heats up more easily. That being said, the air con and fan worked very well so this wasn't really an issue in December.

Only 3 minutes walk away from the lagoon, rooms were nice and spacious, comfy beds and pillows. Good cocktails and breakfast à la carte in the hotel bar.

Expensive compared to similar hotels in other parts of Mexico, but similar priced to similar hotels arount the lake

Whay you see on the pictures is what you get. Very nice rooms in practically a new building. Great beds, great shower and good location. Close to the center and the many beachbars you can find around the lake. We rented the bikes from the hotel to explore Bacalar which was fun.
