the only thing I would have liked to be different is that since we are so close to the main avenue, music from the beach clubs can get disturb a bit

Everything is nice : room, swimming pool, kitchen where you can have coffee or even prepare a meal, on top of that the hosts Nadine & Joël are very kind. It's also quiet which is very appreciated in a place like Puerto Escondido.

Amazing hidden gem that has a great pool and atmosphere plus only 5min from the beach! Would highly recommend it if you want a base in the Puerto Escondido area.

Nothing. It was awesome.

Everything. The pool and the beautifully landscaped courtyard. The location, just the right amount of distance from the beach so it isn’t too noisy. The helpful and attentive staff. The shared kitchen and seating area meant we often got the chance to chat with other guests. Hammocks. The hot water and good pressure in the shower. The huge comfy beds. This is a place to come back to again and again.

GREAT location, peaceful and serene environment, kind and accommodating staff. Owner (Manuela) is a PRO and did everything to please my wife and I in an authentic and kind manner! Rare and appreciated. Recommended and made dinner reservations at two restaurants; one had a spectacular view and quality meal to celebrate the last night of our Valentine trip! Try as the hosts can...you can still hear nightclub music from surrounding clubs.

Absolutely everything! Wonderful place to really relax in clean surroundings! Lovely well kept grounds and pool.it is an Oasis in Puerto Escondido! Super hosts and we do appreciated the adults only in this small boutique hotel!

The second bed was pretty bad. Due to how the room is organized, the bed on top doesn't get that much of the fresh air from the AC, so either the person on the top floor cannot sleep because it's too warm or the person on the bottom floor freezes.

Location was great, although there's noise from the bars located at Zicatela, which can be expected. The cleaning was perfect, there was cleaning service every day IIRC and they left the room spotless. The main bed was really big and comfortable.

If you rent the bigger rooms, the upstairs part gets really hot in the night as the ac is only downstairs. Also, from Wednesday you can hear music coming from the beach until late at night, but that's not the hotel's fault.

The hotel was beautiful, designed in the local, charming style. Rooms were big and comfortable, really clean. Windows were covered with mosquito nets. We were really happy about our stay.

The only small negative note, and although it's absolutely not the hotel's fault, we had a lot of noise from renovation work in the neighboring building.

We loved our whole experience in the accommodation but above all the welcome and good humor of the managers. The pool, decorations and facilities are top-notch. The location is also ideal.

It can a bit noisy at night from a beach club nearby.

It is awesome to be able to use the swimming pool when you come back from a day at the beach (late) in the evening. Also, we flew out late at night to Mexico City, and we were very grateful for the opportunity, after checking out in the morimng, to use a bathroom to shower and freshen up before leaving to the airport.

Wifi in the room a little spotty.

Amazing staff, very friendly and always super clean! The hotel is located in zicatela where you cannot swim, which is not a major problem because other beaches are within 15 mins of walking and the hotel pool was superb anyway. Restaurants, cafes and bars around the corner. Kitchen equipped with filtered water and coffee for free. Also equipped fridge with sodas and beer for 30 pesos.

Not a big thing as we had a car but the beach to swim isn’t across the street as this sea is too wild

Clean and quiet place, with a pool to relax after Faust the beach. Lots of restaurants around the corner. The hosts were very helpful. Can recommend this place

Joel and Nadine were so kind and helpful! The owner was out of town but Nadine is their niece and was looking after the property while we were there. They gave us lots of recommendations and were very attentive. The hotel is just off the boardwalk in the heart of Zicatela, so we were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The pool was clean and refreshing, the common area had lots of hammocks and some shaded tables to sit at.

Not a big thing but swimming beach is 15 minutes walk away, as beach across street is only for surfing ( too wild) but beautiful to see

Great hidden location, staff was very friendly, always willing to help with any question. Very close to the beach and restaurants/bars. The pool is a welcome cooling down after a warm day
