Super friendly staff and very well run hotel, right in the center of Mexico City. The room was a good size and the shower was great. Some really nice touches were the free bottled water and fruit in fridges on each floor. Also most of the food and drink from cafe in the lobby was included in the price of the stay so you could get coffee, tortas etc whenever you wanted.

Nothing really- there were some road closures due to road works- didn't affect us though.

Great location for sightseeing in central Mexico City. Restaurant had an amazing view and breakfast was very tasty every morning. The coffee shop was super useful to grab a coffee or a sandwich ahead of a days sightseeing. Always plenty of water in the fridges on the floors also.

Only minor issue is that if there is a public gathering in the Zocalo area it can be very busy and difficult for traffic, taxi or Uber to access hotel.

Dark carpet, uneven hallways. Location was ok, but prefer other areas of Mexico City.

Hotel rooms were well kept. Clean and comfortable. Beds could be bigger, but room too small for king size beds. Bathroom excellent, shower superb, great water pressure. Hotel staff were superb, always helpful. Spoke English and communicated well.

I booked a basic room and it was very nice but without a view. Next time I hope to book a junior suite and have even more fun. The roof top is excellent and the breakfast (included) was good. The service was excellent. I did not have dinner but my three friends did and they loved it. The location is great to experience the city including access to some of the best restaurants (other than the rooftop).

The only disappointment was the chef's choice to conceal the nature of the items on the tasting menu -- that disrespects people with dietary restrictions!

The shower. It was terrible; it hit the wall and was not adjustable to twist it to fall on the person standing rather than the wall. Also, the shower screen leaks water drenching the floor every time someone has a shower.

Zocalo is so beautiful, clean, comfortable and the amenities and restaurant are wonderful. It is in the perfect location in the historical center. I will always stay here.

A definite plus for me was its location right across from the cathedral and the main square. I got the chance to pray at the cathedral every day of our stay and buy souvenir gifts from its gift shop. One early morning, my husband and I decided to spend some time in the main square just appreciating & enjoying its wide open space before the influx of masses of people later in the day. The hotel is also just a few minutes ride from Roma, Condesa, Polanco and the Guadalupe Basilica. The staff was friendly and special shoutout to Fernanda in the Front Desk for being very helpful and welcoming.

We thought the bathroom area slightly small

This is a great hotel located right near the central square and cathedral (the Zocalo) We had a superior room which had excellent shower etc. Breakfasts were notably superb, with fantastic views over the Zocalo. It was a great opportunity to sample Mexican food. The reception staff were so helpful and went far above what I would not normally expect. Fernando Lazarno was particularly helpful. Overall would thoroughly recommend the hotel
