Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

New ZealandThere wasn’t much sound proofing on the rooms, I was woken several times during the night, as well as the air con randomly turned on every 30minutes and was very loud. Bed wasn’t overly comfortable but good for a quick stop over for one night
The property was walking distance from the terminal so very easy! Also there is a free shuttle as well. The rooms are spacious and the facilities are great.

CanadaBreakfast is for an additional fee. The room door was hard to open. The TV remote didn’t work initially but it was quickly fixed. Dirty bed linen. The room is small, although the renovation is nice. The window didn’t open, only air conditioning was available. The TV doesn’t support YouTube. No nearby pharmacies. Noise in the corridor at night.
Friendly staff. Good soundproofing, quality furniture, and flooring. Beautiful mirror with lighting in the bathroom. Great and clean pool, which is regularly maintained, with towels and loungers available. Beautiful locations - the gym windows overlook the pool. Breakfast is decent: plenty of pastries, scrambled eggs, regular and decaf coffee, vegetables, orange juice, and you can make waffles. Close to the airport, within walking distance to Terminal 2.

NetherlandsFor the price I paid for the king room I would expect a bit more hospitality with checking in and my bags, nobody bothered to help with my bags, no instructions about breakfast or any other amenties I had to ask. The room was nice just there where some things missing, for example there was a coffee maker but no kettle, but they had tea bags. A little annoying. Also no staff at the pool. The 'free shuttle' isn't actually free, the driver always wants a tip. It was definetly could just have been better for the price you pay.
The king room is big and spacious that was great! Staff was very friendly but could have been more helpfull with luggage. Food was ok, nothing special, def a bit pricy.

Excellent hotel near airport terminal 3. Friendly staff. Clean and quiet room with AC. Great beds and nice bathroom with excellent water pressure. Nice swimming pool and gym. We got a complementary shuttle service to the airport terminal early in the morning.
