Lovely family hotel with basic rooms at a perfect distance between ADO station and the lagoon. 5 min walk to the town, restaurants, and shops. They also offer free bikes. Good AC, Wifi, Netflix, and comfy beds. Rafael and his son Rodrigo were super friendly, helpful, and organised laundry and a tour in the lagoon for us. The pool is a great addition, and my son loved it here.

They do lock the doors at midnight, so it isn't a hotel for night owls.

Location is very good.. A few blocks from the market and restaurants on the street facing the lake. Rooms are clean, and guests are quiet.

Very relaxed and friendly. Family run by a wonderful family. Rooms were clean and very comfortable with air conditioning. The pool was a lovely place for breakfast or chilling in the afternoon. Great location just 5 minutes walk to the lagoon or main square.

Very clean, friendly staff, very private and quiet. AC works good, tv was of adequate size and the location is great. Really enjoyed the staff. Very nice with lots of local knowledge to share. Will definitely come back. :)

This is a lovely, simple hotel. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the rooms spacious and cool. The pool area is very nice too. This is a family focused hotel so there was families also enjoying the pool. You can rent bikes for free.

Perhaps a little extra storage space would be useful.

The location was very good for restaurants, unfortunately we didn't find out about the main square until the last night. The rooms were basic but clean and the pool area a beautiful little oasis. All the staff (family I believe) couldn't help enough and were so friendly, particularly the son in the evenings who also spoke excellent English.

Bathroom is really basic, no pressure in the shower and sometimes a bad smell.

Location is good, and the garden with the pool is great. We met great people there and had a lot of great time with the kids around the pool and in the city.

Nothing. Maybe 'blackout' (?) curtain on the streetside to dim the lights coming from the street. At the other hand, it didn't bother our todler or my husband.

Owners are very friendly! Size of the room. Good beds. Shower with good pressure. Fan and airconditioning. Pool. Location. Property is closed by a gate. Have to knock and the owner will let you in. This felt extra safe with our todler. Carparc behind the gate. Free bike rental, also with childseat for our todler. For short distances in town usefull :-) Laundry service for free. Use of the fridge if needed. Tranquille place, we loved it! Sad to leave.

Awesome pool that is not cold compared to others. Beautiful the place. I enjoyed hearing the birds in the morning and looking at the stars in the night. Loved that it is a family hotel! Loved the staff. We felt like home! 5 minutes walking from the main square. There are bikes you can use. We will definitely come back.

The rooms are updated,need a renovation.

The hotel is in great location, 3 min.from center and 5 min from lagune. The owner are very nice, the pool was the best that we had, realy nice. Its quite, and great soraudings with palms. Very nice for families.

Very nice backyard with Pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free laundry and bikes. Our son really enjoyed the Pool area. Rooms rather Basic but super clean. We were happy and would have Loved to stay longer.

Some neighbourhood dogs barking at times, but not the fault of the hotel.

Rodrigo is so friendly and welcoming to all his guests. The rooms are comfortable and clean with just the basics. The pool is refreshing and a great place to enjoy on a hot afternoon. There is a community fridge to store drinks and they will do your laundry for free. Loved the secure parking inside the gate as well. Easy walking distance to the square and restaurants and down to see the lagoon.

This family run hotel has charm. The grounds are amazing. Nice pool area. They also provided a laundry service for our clothes and it was FREE! Rodrigo was a great host. Informative about things to do around Bacalar, attentive to our needs, very professional

The top bunk bed needs a safety guard.
