This place is perfect and has more than everything! A very nice bed, very clean, the best hot shower we had during our trip in Mexico and a beautiful house. We even played pool with the owner and his friend. The owner is really kind and friendly, speaks perfectly English and helped us many times with all our questions. The place is near some nice restaurants and supermarkts and also has a very nice terrace outdoor. This place is perfect if you want to visit El Chiflon. Thank you again for this very lovely and super warm visit, we would definitely come back again!!

Maybe a sign of the door with the name of the accommodation...we needed help of a local outside to find the entrance since we haven't had mexican sim cards yet to use proper Google maps.

A beautiful privat accommodation with a very nice and helpful landlord. The rooms and sanitary rooms were very clean and the beds super comfortable. The accommodation is not super central but you can reach the main park within 20-25 min walking which gives you the opportunity to see a bit of the city.

The bed was just a bit uncomfortable for a long stay, but my significant other mentioned he was able to sleep pretty well. So I guess it boils down to personal preference :-) Also, if you are looking to be closer to the main square/zocalo, then this may not be the most ideal location, as you will have to walk about 20-25 minutes (crossing a busy street) or drive to the tourist center and try to find parking. Otherwise, the location is great for those looking to be a bit farther away from the hustle and bustle.

Hosts were extremely personable and accommodating! Even though Google Maps somehow led us to another location and subsequently, we remained lost for some time, we managed to find the location with the help of a few locals. Once we arrived at where we thought was the correct location and although a bit late, we were warmly welcomed, and provided lots of great information for our stay. Additionally, we were able to communicate with the hosts as often as needed and for whatever was needed. Not only this, but each day, we managed to see one of the hosts and have a wonderful conversation about what to do in, as well as around the city.

We had an amazing stay here! The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable, also a good hot shower. The hosts are super kind and helpful, they can give lots of recommendations. It's around 15 to 20 minutes walking to the center, for us it was fine and therefore the neighbourhood was quiet. In front of the house there's a nice pizzeria and in the street there's kiosks and local food.

Everything was perfect. The place is located in a quiet area, it is 10 minutes from station with Collectivo. The house is very beautiful and clean. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We could also used the kitchen.

The wifi signal was strong at times and sometimes very weak and even unusable.

The staff was very nice and helpful with suggestions for trips around the area. They also lots of suggestions about places to eat in the city. The room was also very comfortable and i would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit comitan, El chiflon, and lagunas de Montebello.

Nothing needs improvement. However if you are trying to tell a taxi how to find the house, it is best to say “across from pizzeria albhaca” which is easy for them to find and was also delicious!

The host (Carlos) and his family are wonderful and helpful. The home is lovely, extremely clean and the kitchen has anything you might need to use, as well as coffee that they very kindly share with guests! The neighborhood has fruit shops, a little bakery, tiendas and is within a few blocks of ATMs, pharmacies and the historical part of town.

Can’t think of anything.

Great room in a great location, just off the main road and close to the buses and collectivos, but not busy or noisy. Carlos and his wife are super friendly and very helpful. Carlos speaks great English for those who aren’t so fluent in Spanish like myself, which was super convenient l. He helped me with suggestions on how to get to Comitan, where to ask the driver to let me off the collectivo, suggested places to visit and restaurants to eat and even dropped me off at a next town (Tzimol) for a tour I had there. The room is very spacious with an en-suite bathroom, the bed is very comfortable and all is super clean. It’s a shame I didn’t spend more time here. Can highly recommend and if ever I travel to Comitan again, I know where I’ll be staying. Note that there are two rooms available at this property by the way. The one I stayed in, habitación agradable, and seeet dreams, which is very similar (maybe a little better, but there was another guest staying in that room already). Also feel it’s necessary to mention that Comitan is very much worth while visiting and am glad I did despite some people advising against it.

It was a really nice stay. The bed was comfy. The family hosting us were nice. They gave us the tips how to get around to tourist attractions as we didn't really find a tour to take.

Super clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect. Nice location to walk to the Mirador and the Parque central. It's a beautiful house with a nice terrace, library area to relax,pool table and living room. The room was beautiful and bright. Carlos and Maria were very friendly and helpful. It was really nice to stay with them. We really enjoyed our conversations. Gracias!!! We could use the computer to back up our travel photos. There is Agua potable and coffee and tea in the kitchen . We ended up staying 5 nights.

The room was very clean and spacious, with a strong shower with plenty of hot water. The bed was super comfortable as well. The host was extremely friendly and gave us many great tips on where to eat. Would come again for sure in the future.
