Better control of the air conditioning unit. It seemed like it only had an on or off with no other adjustment even though I changed the temperature on the thermostat.

Loved the beach, the sand and water. So nice to be able to swim in the ocean with little seaweed. Dining options were very good. Loved the taco stand on the poolside deck! Antonio took particularly good care of us at the buffet for breakfast and lunch. He learned our names and visited with us and was so kind. I loved the family friendly entertainment! So nice to have wholesome activities and singers and dancers. Thank you!

They have a room service charge of $10.00. The pools could be cleaner. Some of the food was bland.

The Wyndham Altra Cancun is a great vacation spot. The people who work here are absolutely what makes this a great experience. I have never been to a place where all of the employees are gracious, kind, helpful, friendly and just great people - until I went to this resort. Everyone is happy to greet you and help to make your stay as delightful as it can be! All of the employees at Wyndham Altra are just wonderful. The location is perfect. There are several restaurants to choose from, including a pool side taco bar that is delicious! The entertainment is super fun! They offer pool or beach volley ball, pool Zumba and nightly, wholesome, interactive dance shows in an open air lounge. You can chose to be in a pool or on the beautiful beach, they are just steps away from each other. There are lounge chairs or cabanas, with pool and beach side food and drink service. Separate fun water play places for the kids. The pools are nice but could use some deep cleaning (grout especially)! You'll find folks here to help you arrange fun activities to do from Ski-doo rental to snorkle trips. Shout out to Guillermo! A super great guy! Mall shopping is just down the street. The Aura Spa is to-die-for! The massage therapy is incredible. Don't miss this wonderful treat!! *I highly recommend Mary and LuLu! They are great massage therapists with amazing de-stressing techniques! In fact, Mary provided one of the best massages I've ever had! These technicians are skilled and completely wonderful! The facials are absolutely delightful too!! The spa is a definite 'Must Do'! The workout facility is very nice with good variety. And don't miss the candy shop or coffee bar! Wyndham Altra is a great place for friend groups, families, honeymooners, just about anybody will enjoy this all inclusive resort. The place is very kept clean, housekeeping does an amazing job.

As a couple with no kids there were many young families - but we knew what we were getting into The eating was could be extremely loud - very bad acoustics.

Well laid out. Lots of variety to eat, excellent staff! Clean - lots of towels provided. Well stocked with non alcoholic beer!! The pool and beach were amazing- make sure you get a beach cabana - you will be there all day!

We liked everything the hotels had to offer.

We like that the hotel is all-inclusive, which saved us a lot of money. There were so much food to choose in their dining selection from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The drinks are the best feature for me and my husband. Plus, they have entertainment for the children that kept them occupied while the parents are having a good time too.

The swimming pool was very warm and small for the size of the hotel. There were a large group of people staying inside the swimming pool and keep drinking hours and hours. It wasn't a good sight and couldn't enjoy it with our children.

The view from our room was magnificent especially the sun rise!! The food was great and atmosphere was fantastic. We enjoyed the shows every night at the theatre too.

Some of the chairs were getting worn. Would have liked a little more shade by the beach and pool. Overall everything was fantastic.

There were a lot of food choices in the buffet style restaurant. Everything was tasty. There were also several other sit down restaurants that could be selected at night. All the staff were helpful and made sure we were well taken care of.

The resort was great, the staff amazing!!! very courteous, nice. The food at all the restaurants were great, tasty...from the buffet to the a la carte restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and will be going back.

The room was too small. There was a faucet leaking, energy outlets not working and air conditioning faulty.

Food is very good. Kids play and swimming areas outstanding. Pools were good, very nice gym.

There was no elevator to our room floor, so having to go through the stairs up and down during the stay was not comfortable. Fortunately it was just 1 floor level up.

The room was great, spacious and comfortable. The beds were perfect, one king size and one queen, very soft and comfortable. The food at the restaurants was acceptable, good variety. Drinks were also acceptable. The activities in the pool area were very fun, specially the pool volley.
