It took 45 minutes to get the food ready in the restaurant next to the pool and other 20 minutes to get the check. It took more than a day to the front desk to be able to confirm if the spa service was available and to make an appointment.

Pillows, reception staff a little less friendly than previous visits.

This was our third stay here within 12 months which we mentioned at check-in. We love the atmosphere of the hotel and its wonderful location right on the water with great snorkeling. The restaurant service seemed a little faster this time but the reception staff not as friendly. We have had a late checkout both previous visits and were told it was absolutely no problem. This time, even though we just wanted an extra half an hour before catching our ferry, we were abruptly told no, latest checkout is at 12. I am not sure if Maya is still one of the managers here but she was absolutely delightful when we stayed in May. We were hoping for a similar experience. Pillows are always uncomfortable as mentioned by other guests, coffee maker didn’t work but Manuel in the restaurant kindly provided hot water when requested. Jose, our waiter, was so sweet and kind, he responded quickly and professionally to an issue regarding a food allergy. Great service. I am sure we’ll be back but this time it didn’t feel quite as “special”.

Room did not meet our expectations. The outlets were minimal and none near the bed areas. The room always felt dark and not enough lighting. The bed was hard and pillows too fluffy and hard causing us neck pain. Fridge was full of items that we had to pay for and not enough room to put our own food. And a lot of empty space that could’ve used some functional furniture or etc. hair dry was eroded, rusty.

The pool was great and and loved that we had access to the ocean from the dock. Restaurant and breakfast was good. Staff was attentive and service was good.

At our arrival the room wasn't ready with the 2 double beds we requested. So we had to wait. The room was a bit dusty at the beginning and the sink was leaking. Well they fixed it next day.

The location :) facilities and the snorkeling tour provided by Emir. Housekeeper was brilliant, after the cleaning she found my bracelet charm. Thank you 😊 Juan carlos the waiter was really nice and friendly.

My party travelers in an adjacent room had hard mattresses. Room decor and upkeep. One Thai dish tasted like oil and a Thai salad like vinegar. One or two not so nice waiters. No included espresso for breakfast.

Great view. Nice pool area and towel policy. Friendly and helpful reception. Fast and quiet elevators. Hot tub location. A very comfortable mattress. A tasty fish dinner. Quick hot water. Good value. Mostly great waiters. Cleanliness. Breakfast.

At the breakfast, they don't provide water at all. Only when you go to the bar and ask. We always got the bill in the middle of our breakfast like please 'hurry up' - breakfast is free but you are supposed to leave a tip. Sometimes, they took the plate even when you are not 100% finished.

Amazing view from the balcony. We really recommend an ocean view room. Garden view is not good, since it faces the main road and this is really loud. Breakfast is also okay. The first day, we had to choose between three options but after that they switched to a buffet.

The ocean view was blocked by bushes. The pool view was blocked by bushes. You have to go through the bushes to get out to the pool.

Everything was clean, peaceful, and beautiful. Well maintained. Everyone was very courteous.

The beds were absolutely horribly uncomfortable. If you like firm beds, you’ll be fine I had to spend about $50 to get an egg crate mattress pad. I also had to buy a pillow because they have only one type of pillow on property. The pillows are so big your head is always propped up and not able to support the cervical curve of your neck. Many kudos to the staff because they did try to put a few blankets on the bed to make it softer but the blankets themselves are so thin that it didn’t really help at all. I also offered to move us to the king suites at a $50 up charge a day, but being that we were only friends, we needed separate beds and that wasn’t doable.. i’m a germaphobe as well, I couldn’t bring myself to use the unsealed water pitchers in the room. They also have glass water coolers in the hallways but the lids aren’t sealed so anybody could walk by and drop anything in there. I didn’t think about that until somebody pointed it out to me! These minor things absolutely did not hamper my wonderful time spent there. The staff was amazing. Marco was so nice, funny, helpful, and had great local suggestions. He even helped us get a great rental car.

It was beautiful and wonderful location. Able to snorkel directly from the hotel, which was fabulous when the water was calm enough. Fantastic view from our room.

I go to this hotel most every year. This time the pier was in pieces and swimming raft gone. So handy ladder to sea swimming gone. Remodel of an old building underway. Will be nice soon. There may have been a wait staff shortage it seemed to take quite a while to get drinks etc. I usually love the food but not up to standard and running out of menu items at times.

Location is primary. While they did not have my requested room at first I was moved second day and reception staff works hard to please. That said hotel rooms are minimalist but ok I spend little time in there. Shout out to lifeguard staff they are world class and on the job. This hotel is very Zen. Go somewhere else if you want to party hard. I like the vibe. Its nice they keep an adult area with seperate pool. Wait staff works hard to please and are very nice.

The restaurant food was temperamental - ie one night the tuna ceviche came one way and the other a very different way. We assumed it was due to chefs of choice but some consistency would have been amazing. Other than that - everything was perfect.

The pool was amazing - and the views into the ocean exceeded all expectations. I had seen a few photos online but in person it was a dream! Very comfortable rooms with a gorgeous view - loved the hammocks to relax on downstairs.

The room was a little musty, and no outlet near the bed, but not a big deal at all.

Hotel B was wonderful. The facilities were exactly as described. The view is amazing. Breakfast was delicious and varied a little each day. The staff was warm and welcoming and friendly, they offered good advice for things to do around the island, and helped us organize our snorkeling tour and our massages. Their English was great. I was confused at first about the difference between Hotel B and Hotel B Unique, but other than the rooms, the hotels share all facilities, and really operate as one large hotel. You can just save a little money staying at Hotel B.

We went on a snorkeling tour to El Cielo and need to admit it was poorly organized by the company. Very touristy and tour felt rushed through. However it looked like most of the companies run the same type of tours. However it is not hotels fault, just to set the expectation of you decide to go on the tour.

The facilities and location of the hotel was great.

Location wasn't bad . Staff was amazing and helpful. Free Breakfast wasn't that great , could have betteroptions. . You get betterfoos options off the restaurant menu. Would of been nice if the other restaurant was open to have more dinning options. Overall definitely would come stay here again.
