Intially, the beds we had were not comfortable, and they understood the importance of a good bed and a good restful sleep. This issue was rectified quickly and exceptionally well.

The location was great, accessible to everything, restaurants, beach, market, and on the bus route. It's an older hotel but the rooms and the facilities were clean. Housekeeping was quick to reply to your needs.We had a suite with a kitchenette, and it was well equipped. The staff were pleasant, helpful, and professional. Special mention to William at the front desk when dealing with an accommodation issue. He worked to resolve the issue promptly and professionally, and we were quire pleased with the resolution. They work hard to make your stay pleasant.

Beds are OK but pillows are not, Elevator is a tripping hazard as it stops just short of the floor. We were very disappointed in the food in the restaurant Sad that the price of the room more than doubled because of the eclipse.

Others have said that it's a little run down and some areas need some updates. But everything worked great and we were very happy to stay here.

Great view of the sea. Very comfortable bed and very clean room. WiFi and the TV worked great. The staff were so nice. They also let us enter the room early. The gardens and pool area are beautiful.

The pool wasn’t the best in my opinion. Steps were not the safest and the other side was slippery. The chairs and lifeguards/ staff were all wonderful. We would definitely stay again.

The safe box didn't work, although they offer me to put my things on their safe box but was on the lobby at the entrance, so I decided not to. The bathroom has a sewer strong smell, we kind a fixed it for a while, putting a towel covering the shower drain. They were windy days so we couldn't enjoy the food that they had on the open areas, wish they could let us have them inside the restaurants, but they don't.

It was rough around the edges, as others have said. So, the furniture was a bit worn. Everything was a little worn and maybe out dated. But we didn’t mind at all, and nothing about it being “worn” affected us negatively in any big way.

Great location! Stunning views! As others have commented, it’s a tad rough around the edges, but it suited us just fine. Oh, and the beds we’re comfortable, contrary to what others have reported. The beach and waves were perfect for our two 12 year olds and our 9 year old. The pool was great. The staff was excellent and very helpful and kind. The areas of Mazatlan that we moved around in, Gold Coast and Centro were very safe feeling. I’d recommend Costa de Oro to anyone looking for great value and who doesn’t need the most upscale, chic, boutique hotel. It was great for our family. And the price was hard to beat for what we got.

its not worth it the all inclusive plan. food no good, drinks to cheap they use commercial alcohol for the drinks hotel accepts a lot of excursions big parties so buffet its always pack big lines just to get eggs! and can't believe ROOM SERVICE ITS NOT INCLUDE IN THE ALL INCLUSIVE PLAN!!!!

Terrible check in it was 5 pm and waiting for room to be cleaned I was very sick from heat . They did have life guard check my blood pressure well security did up front help sucked 😕

All the staff was nice except for one girl, she was making a face because I asked for a extra towel when I didn’t know towels were limited. she could have communicated better and without the attitude.

location is great. there are restaurants, clubs, pharmacies within walking distance. across the street their are ATM banks and money conversion. we stayed at a suit and all suits have a view of the pool and beach with was so beautiful. Their is a spa within the location and they are very friendly and give good massages.

I didn’t like the attitude waiters, waitresses, bar tenders have towards me and my family the minute they saw that our bracelet was all included they will take very long to take our order or bring our order out. They will also tell us some things were not available because of the day of the week which to me it doesn’t make senses for example (we wanted ceviche for snack on Wednesday and we couldn’t get it until Thursday but if we buy it we can get it ) Also the pool looks very old and not updated and the hot tub was never hot. They also have very loud music all day at the pool sometimes it was impossible to relax.

I like the room was very nice clean and the location of the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was delicious generous portions.

We were asked to wait on the lobby for more than 3o minutes while the room was being prepared for our stay. There was a faulty aluminum shower door that caused to leak water into the floor; it was fixed the next day we notified. Too noise at night. The street is too close to the hotel and doors were not able to filter the noise. The air conditioner unit was dripping water into the kitchen area. The bed pillows seem to be too old and lost their fluffiness as they felt bumpy. No joke... but I saw a body of a woman inside the leaving room and from that they on the TV was turning ON for now reason. I was more surprised than afraid.

The Hotel is located in a centralized area that was close to convenient stores, fast food restaurants, transportation options and other services. Hotel personal ready to provide a smile and salutations. Breakfast buffet was really good. One small detail. We decided during our stay to order a Italian style pizza, it took much longer than expected and arrive to our table Hawaiian style pizza, the poor server thought that I was going to make a big scene but, in all honesty, we were so hungry that did not mind and ate the whole thing.
