A bit too expensive for the kind of traveler that usually stays at hostels and looks for quality inexpensive accommodations

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in! The rooms and common areas are really nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped, really big and pretty clean. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Location is pretty good. They offer a lot activities to meet people and have a good time!

The staff was very friendly. We had a private room, and everything was good. We had a good sleep and it was clean. The facilities were fine.

The mattress in the capsule dorm was worn off and I slept in a hole in the middle of it and the same for the pillow. I stayed for one more night in a different dorm where the mattress and pillow were much better!

It was soo clean, rooms and the hostel overall are very spacious. Ac worked perfect and fun daily activities at the hostel. Especially renata made my stay so nice!

Just next to the Laguna and 15 minutes walking from ADO bus station. A lot of activities organized which makes it easy to meet people and a great staff.

The price was outrageous. And super variable. If I looked at a day 2 weeks out it was like a third of the price. I was paying for 2 nights what another girl paid for a week. And it wasn't even full. Robbery!

All the facilities were great. Comfy beds. I was worried about noise from parties but my room was silent. I saw one girl leaving annoyed due to lack of AC but my room was good

Our aircon broke so had a hot night and even though about 5 of us told staff early in the morning and throughout the day it took them until 9:45 at night to come look at it when all the girls where trying to shower and get changed.

The staff especially receptionist, I highly recommend to improve on the hospitality skills, I dit not feel welcomed at all, also asking questions was too much for the lady. Other then that it is quite loud but it is known so if you don’t like it chez is the wrong place.

Che is a great hostel for young people that like to party The rooms are big enough and have good bathrooms The location is great and also the building looks very nice

A little bit noisy if you want to sleep early.

Party hostel where you can meet people, enjoy the rooftop and the swimming pools. They offer activités everyday! I enjoyed the training and the yoga on the morning. Really close to the lagoon.

It's quite pricey, but all the hostels in Bacalar seem to be. The wifi could have been better.

It's a nice hostel, very clean. You can also get food there.

WiFi was slow in the room but fine in the communal areas. Could also do with more seating that is under shelter as it rained a lot when I visited and there were only a few seats

The room (suite) was a bit small and there were not many options to hang your wet towels&co. Also, the kitchen was quite unfurnished. There were only three cups available for the whole hostel!

Great location, great place, super clean! Very international (which can be a plus or a minus, depending on people, I was with some Mexicans and they were by far the minority in the hostel ;) I think it's a great place for partying and to meet people!

A bit more activities to force people to socialize would be beneficial.

A must go place, just book here, you don't need look elsewhere. Amazing structure with multiple rooftops where you have the view of the lake and a fantastic sunrise. Plenty of touristic information available.

This is a party hostel, if you are a light sleeper consider looking elsewhere. The volunteers encourage lots of drinking and this leads to roommates who don’t respect others in the dorms.

Personally I found the staff very distant and they were partying amongst themselves at night. When we asked for local recommendations, one answered that they did not know and did not give us any information … The music at night could be softer if there is no one partying and just people drinking and chilling

The Che is in a very nice location, has a nice swimming pool area and the common areas are generally quite clean. The capsules are a great option when traveling with 2.

The hostel aims for Young People which is Nice. However if you want to sleep early, it's better to bring earplugs.

The social aspect, Jade is excellent at getting everyone involved but also not forcing you to join if you don’t want to.
