It was very noisy as the hostel is located next to 2 main roads that have lots of traffic.

The location is great, right next to the city centre. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The shared kitchen was great to cook.

Our room (#7) is next to the road and it gets very loud, the curtains are very thin so you also get the light from passing cars. Very noisy bed and hard mattress. I'm sure most of the other rooms don't have the same noise issues but worth mentioning.

Great location, WiFi, overall place vibe. Huge room, walking distance to the centre, nice terrace. Very well equipped kitchen and complementary water. Very friendly staff and quick to respond. Easy check in. Super value for money, would go back with minor changes.

Our room was on the ground floor with a window to the streets. At times it would get really loud from cars driving buy blasting music and you could hear people talking clearly. But because we weren’t to sensitive it wasn‘t too much of a problem!

Very lovely place, well decorated and nice common areas. We loved the vibe and chilling on the rooftop with the great mountain view.

The room is a bit dark because there is no window. The bathroom is very tiny and sometimes it was smelling bad. Also so cleaning during our stay, we would have appreciated once every 2/3 days.

We stayed a week at Casa Huipil and we loved our stay. The location is perfect, in the center of San Cristobal. The place is very beautiful, we loved the rooftop and all the communal areas. The kitchen is very cozy, very well organized for the guests and very well equiped, we loved it. The room was nice. Check in/ check out very easy,

What a cool place, we enjoyed our stay so much that we came back after visiting Comitan. It's pretty with a lot of common spaces to relax outside as well as inside. We got room 7 the second time and it was clean, really spacious and I actually prefer having a bathroom separately from the room as it's bigger. Good wi-fi. Big, very well equipped kitchen where you get your assigned storage and fridge space so you'll always have some. You can use the common rooms if you arrive early. Close to the city center, even closer to many cool cafés and restaurants, easy max. 20minute walk to the ADO station, good, cheap laundrette just a few houses down the road.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful and in a great location just a short walk to the zocalo and tons of great cafes and restaurants. We arrived early and Mrs. Yoli had our room cleaned and ready well before check in time. There was tons of space around the property to relax and we had no issues with the internet.

The location was spot on with everything within a few minutes walking distance. The room was big and comfortable and everybody there were very welcoming. The kitchen had everything you need and plenty of outside space.I would definitely recommend if you are going to San Cristobal de las casas.

The place is clean and comfortable, the people (including the host and the guests too) are absolute sweethearts, and the vibe is great! They have a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need, and comfortable beds. This is an excellent value and one of the best places we ever stayed in San Cristobal.

The toilet has the worst odor ever. It just stinks for no reason even when it’s “clean.” The shower head is very old and sprays water ineffectively. Needs some serious repairs.

Great location. Lovely restaurants nearby. Very friendly owner and guests. Colorful and revolutionary vibes! Descent value. The rooftop and clothes drying area are a great plus!!

The rooms are quite dark and gets cold at night but I was provided with loads of blankets so I was okay! Bed was a little squeaky and loud but other than that I was happy :)

very noisy early in the morning & evening on a road junction, most cars sound there horn as they approach the junction. Had a cold shower one morning before a long day trip because the gas ran out even though I hadn’t used boiler at that point. Wi-Fi very intermittent. when I arrived in the dark the bell didn’t work on the gate & it was difficult to make myself heard to get entry.

location was great , lots of natural light, comfy bed, host was very welcoming and friendly.
