We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

MaltaKristel was great, however she was the only English speaking receptionist, so we found it quite difficult to communicate with the other members of staff.
The location was great, very clean room, just like the pictures. They also offered us an alcoholic welcoming drink which was a nice touch.

When I set foot in the hotel I felt comfortable and relaxed, exactly what I needed, and it got better and better. Lovely room, great bathroom, just exquisite. Hong KongThe room is not cheap! For the price we paid, we would have expected, at minimum, a kettle to boil water, to make tea or coffee, or some facilities like a mini-bar so that we dont have to rely on room service all the time. However, there is no such facility in the room at all.
The hotel location is perfect. The restaurant in the hotel is very nice too. The room is spacious and also has a balcony with green foliage. The furniture in the room is new, clean and well maintained. The rooms are well lit and there is enough lighting and air conditioning. Bathroom and shower is also very spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff are very courteous, give good advice, and help make fantastic arrangements for excursions and travels around town. Their suggestions for local shopping of fabrics, coffee, meals, etc were spot on!

United StatesThe air conditioning in the room did not work This was a big selling point for us since very few hotels offer this amenity. There is a system in the room but the climate never went down to our desired level. It just circulated the air. Luckily it wasn't too hot. We kept the slider door open during the day to cool down the room. At night, it got too noisy so we closed it. This was the only time when it got a little stuffy and air conditioning would have been good to have. For a hotel of this caliber, I was surprised it didn't have coffee available early in the morning. Their restaurant opens at 7:00 am . We had an early tour that left at 6:00 am and would have liked to have had a cup of coffee before we left. Coffee makers in the room or in the main lobby would be a quick fix for early risers. The King size bed was comfortable, but a bit bouncy.
The hotel is lovely and elegant, with beautiful light and in a great, central location. The decor isn't traditionally rustic or colourful like other hotels in the area. Rather, it has a muted colour palette that is elevated and classy. The rooms are large, comfortable, and well appointed with a large bathroom away from the bedroom. The terrace in the Junior Suite, where we stayed, was wonderful and offered beautiful opportunities to watch the sunrise and sunset. The slider door opens to the bedroom and provides the lovely view, light, and fresh air.

Casa Del Alma was in a great location to the sites in the city and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do and see. The hotel staff was friendly. The lobby was a nice place to sit and relax by the fire pit. The rooms were very large and exceptionally clean. The bathrooms were nice with great water pressure. The restaurant served a lovely breakfast that was included in our stay and it was delicious. If I am ever in San Cristobal again this is my go to place to stay.
