The staff were amazing and great location in walking distance to everything in La Punta. Food was yum.

The area where the hotel is located is a couple of blocks from the beach in a regular neighborhood. The work has started to begin paving the streets, but for now be prepared to walk through some dirt roads. We noticed that the beaches had more of a younger crowd, so if you are in that category, you will love the vibe of Zicatela Beach.

The breakfast is very delicious and plenty of options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had some great fresh fruit waters and juices made while we were there. We loved that there was many options for lunch and dinner on the street right behind the beach front. We also had a chance to take a yoga class at the hotel and we really enjoyed it. Additionally, the pool was very nice in the evening and there is a bartender available to make you pretty much any kind of drink, she even made some popcorn for us and that was super nice and appreciated.

Just that the first day they put Cloro in the pool while people where still swimming which should only be done at night. Other than that it was perfect.

The hotel is super mega beautiful, it has pool, gardens and an outside gym which is great. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and you feel just at home.

The location was steps away from so many cafes and shops! The facilities were always pristine and so user friendly! In addition, the staff was very welcoming and always had the best recommendation for local activities and even helped us schedule some tours! This place was 100% worth the stay, and we hope to be back soon.

Bathroom 😔 No pressure in the water. We had 2 nights without warm water.

This hotel was wonderful! The property was gorgeous and well designed, the location was perfectly central to everything the neighborhood had to offer, and the overall vibe was relaxing and comfortable. The restaurant/bar served delicious food with friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

A few very small points: Water pressure in the shower was quite weak but that's not unusual here I think. The rooms were also quite dark so it would've been great to have some stronger lightbulbs or more lamps available. Noise does travel around the property very easily (e.g. from roosters), so be aware of that if you are a light sleeper.

Room was a good size and had everything we needed. The hotel has a nice bar and plenty of seating areas to use (rooftop, hammock area, pool deck, etc.). Staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome/helped us with trips and taxis. Available yoga classes in the mornings were a great extra activity. Location was also perfect for La Punta, only 5 minutes walking to the beach but without any noise from the main street.

Really close to the beach, we enjoyed swimming in the pool and using the sun loungers. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable.

all the time there is some music playing loud. Usually bad music. They should learn that, at a noisy world, silence is gold. They could encourage those guests who want to hear music to use each one’s mobile – with earphone, of course, to avoid disturbing the others. In favour of the hotel, I must say that they turned off the sound as soon as I asked to (why didn’t I asked before?). Then all of a sudden we start listening to the birds; a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere was installed.

The hotel is well located, beautiful, clean. The swimming pool is fantastic. Food service is restrict, but the quality above my expectations. They offer excursions at a better price than those I found at the internet. The staff is terrific.

The door to my room was a bit thin, so I could easily hear people in the hallway when I was in the bathroom. There was loud music one morning for a fitness class above my room, which wasn't a big deal for me but if you like to sleep late it could be an issue.

The property was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Well, not their fault but construction noises next door were a bit much the last two days of our stay. It's a booming place. I hauled out the heavy duty earplugs that I used at night to block out the rooster festival that seems to happen all night. Worked perfectly for the night so that the roosters became a distant memory of our first earplugless night but I don't really want to use them ALL the time.

Best thing about the place by far was Monica, who cheerfully worked the small bar next to the pool. Friendly, smart, authentic, interesting person, great taste in music. Knowledgeable not only about the area but about being a tourist in a new place. (Originally from Italy she's been localized for almost 20 years). Our experience would have been lesser without her. Beautiful patio, lovely food options, fantastic yoga room that I used all by myself (that's just how I yoga) outside of the official class times. Very near to beach and lovely Amarisa Café. Favourite moment might have been the lovely lazy hour under an umbrella watching two yellow kiskadees work on a nest.

My only criticism would be the lunch menu wasn't that great for vegetarians. If the quality and variation of food was improved this I would have rated this hotel as exceptional.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The helpful and friendly staff really made the stay more pleasurable. The view from our room was beautiful, the studio on the top floor was very appreciated and I did really lovely yoga classes twice. You get a little discount for being a guest at the hotel.

The yoga room sometimes had loud am / pm fitness classes and we were next door. Some minor security issues with doors that don’t lock , and no working safe but typical of Mexico. Note we never felt unsafe and the entire property is walled .

Amazing quaint and affordable property close to everything in la puente, with wonderful staff, great drinks and a sweet pool. Clean and well run. I’d definitely come back.

Super bohemian and nice common area! Good food and drinks for an ok price. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. If you wanted a tour or a taxi they were a great help. AC in the rooms is really good. Nice to get a massage and plus for the gym and all the workout classes!
