Even though Don Pablo is Centro de Oaxaca, it is a bit far from the Zocalo.

When it rained there was a corner at the front that got a bit flooded. Nothing major but just good to be aware of when arriving.

The building is very nice and there is a roof terrace with great views of the surrounding mountains. The staff are great and really helpful.

The tap in our room wasn’t a proper tap so water would spit everywhere. Bad water pressure. Hair in shower from previous guest.

Overall, it was pleasant to be in the Hostel, you can come and go as you please, and the location is a plus. Breakfast could get boring, but if you don't mind eggs every morning you could save your self a meal. I would recommend for the fruit to very.

I was more than happy with the location, breakfast is continental, eggs, tea/coffee, toast and watermelon. Room was perfect for us. No TV. No chair in my room. They would come and make the beds daily, and take the trash. I would open my doors so I could get more fresh air as they don't have AC, but the weather was nice. in the 80's not too hot. I felt safe. I would recommend the Hostel.

Staff couldn't help us with all our questions, partly because English was limited and our Spanish is not that good. Bed was not super good. There was only an indoor window, so there was not much fresh air.

Good location; walking distance to the center and restaurants. Friendly staff. Clean room/bathroom.

It was very quiet so hard to meet other travellers - not necessarily a bad thing, this might be a pro for some just not for us :)

The reception area is small and dark. The next room you pass through is without decor, walls lined with couches. It is also where the night staff sleeps. Didn't bother me; just observing. In the shower room, there is no dry place or shelf for clothes, unless you are tall. This can and should be fixed

Simple furnishings, cozy outdoor dining, free breakfast, great kitchen staff. Pet friendly. My 25 pound dog was welcomed. Like home

A little worn in but what can you expect?

Great location and was a great place to lie our heads during a busy stay in Oaxaca. After reading reviews we ended up sending them a message ahead of time to confirm the booking, no issues. Would definitely stay again next time we are back, great value for money!

Our room did not have external windows and there was no airflow at all. The fan unfortunately did not do much to help with the heat.

- The kitchen could have been cleaner. - We were in the twin room off the patio & the kitchen so it was very noisy first thing & late at night. One of the staff decided to sweep the patio floor at 630am, which is fine but they didn’t need to drag every chair at that time in the morning!

- Good value for money. - Breakfast included. - Plenty of seating areas including a rooftop.

The rooms are ok for the price but there is no ventilation, the little fan is incredibly loud and ours was not working properly, we asked to change it and were ignored. Some hot nights if you go on hot season. Also it is almost imposible to get water out of the sinks. Out courtain kept falling.

Amazing location, near the mercado 20 de noviembre, the property is beautiful. The breakfast is good. Atmosphere is also great! Would stay again

A beautiful hostel with enough space! There's a seating area downstairs, couches in the first floor and a rooftop terrace.. Bedsheets are clean. Bathrooms get cleaned everyday. The location is very good, everything is easy to reach on foot to explore beautiful Oaxaca. Well equipped and nice kitchen and a tasty included breakfast ✌🏼🤗

The front desk host, although very friendly, did not have much information on local tourist attractions. Also, the wifi was spotty in our room, but worked great in the central hangout areas. Some noise from other guests late at night and early in the morning. All very minor quibbles.

Friendly staff, very convenient location. Great base for exploring the city and meeting people from all over the world. The included breakfast was a nice bonus. Staff was very friendly and always available.

The breakfast was plain (no sauce or jam for the toasts and eggs) and the twin room we had was next to the kitchen, so it was a bit noisy in the morning. But we had a good stay despite those details.

Very nice family run hotel ! It had a lot of commun areas both indoors and outdoors, rooftop, a book exchange and a well equipped kitchen. They came to clean the room everyday and serve breakfast at your table. It was really good value and we would come back if in Oaxaca again.

The entrance is dark, casual. Night staff perfunctory service, not cordial. Shower rooms had no place (within reach) for dry towel and clothes. Wall rack is exceedingly high and out of reach but for six-footers.

Location is great. Walking distance to historical sites around the zocolo. Guest house is relaxed. Staff is young, laid back, smiles. Kitchen staff very good, though not equipped to wellhandle requests (like 'eggs Sunnyside up)

What's not to like! Comfy beds, best eggs for breakfast ever, great location near everything, well equipped kitchen and double rooms...but the staff take the cake though! Everyone is very friendly at this hostel, particularly the housekeeping staff. The value for money is unrivalled in the area and we feel very lucky to have found is gem in the Centro Oaxaca! Thanks for having us!

I loved it all, I met some great people there too. The breakfast was filling and the setup was wonderful. They have a very massive space to walk around. Every room has great sound proof walls, you can only hear people once they’re out and about.
