There was a fogged glass from the bathroom, and it can be seen from outside, I had to take something to cover it.

Teh view form Casa Azul is awesome, the house interior is classic.

I would have appreciated it if they had a coffee maker instead of instant coffee but I still loved casa azul ;)

The property was clean, comfortable and pretty. Paulina was polite, welcoming and of great help at all times.

The walk up on the narrow, curvy road, but I got used to it.

Beautiful building. Lovely terrace, spacious room, and I like that there was hot and cold water available to drink, make coffee, etc.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I paced myself on the walk up the hill.

The host, Paulina, is wonderful. The rooms, gardens, and terrace are beautiful. The central location is ideal.

It takes a long time to get hot water in the showers but the host warned us of this when we checked in.

The staff were so kind and welcoming, they waited for us to arrive at 10:30pm and gave us a tour of the hotel. The hotel is lovely, such beautiful decorations everywhere, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and there is a great balcony that all guests have access to for a view of the city.

This place was such a delight. My favorite part was the charming old house, so full of character! The host was lovely, kind, and helpful. The location is great, just a two minute walk down to one of the main plazas. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended for four more nights.

The location was excellent. It was like staying in a museum. Stayed 3 nights and always started the day with watching humming birds on the roof top and also would come back in the afternoon, have a short sleep, did the bird watching again and go out again in the evening. And Paulina, thank you for everything ❤️

The bed was not very comfortable. I felt the middle of mattress sinking. If you have a problem on your back, not recommendable.

I liked the furniture and antique interior. And also having the rooftop terrace was a plus. The lady was very friendly and helpful too.

We had the big room in front, above the street, and the cars traveling around the curve over the cobblestones made the room noisy and a little rumbly. We're kind of late sleepers though, so people up before working hours shouldn't have a problem. The rooms in the back should be much quieter. We used earplugs and dampened the sound by putting a couple of pillows in between the window and indoor shutters.

Paulina was running this place single-handedly, and she was a warm and responsible host. She makes sure you are taken care of and treats you like family. This hotel is a very old house with quirky old charm; we enjoyed the natural brick ceilings, funky garden, and interesting artwork. If you want a place with the old Guanajuato character, this is perfect. Our room was very large with a king-sized bed and we felt comfortable. It was nice to have a few cute common spaces to retire to. There is free hot/cold water dispenser available in the common room, with a few teas and instant coffee if you like. We can't thank Paulina enough for her kindness.

should update pillows. also there is no AC, so you sleep with windows open, tho there is enough cars passing by which creates noise and air pollution.

I liked everything. Note though for anyone who has accessibility issues….the property is at the top of a very steep hill and there are narrow steps in the Hotel itself to access the rooftop terrace. I think this is a factor every where in hilly Guanajuato. The character and prettiness of the tiny Hotel was worth the work for us. A lovely little gem.

Charming, immaculately clean, filled with character. I had the balcony room with exquisite views. The rooftop terrace is beautiful. Small touches like hot water for tea and coffee in the atrium and bottled water in room was appreciated. Paulina the host was lovely and helpful and available for any questions.

Bit of a climb to get to. we had a member of our group who had to use a cane. she was able to walk down into town but we took a taxi back home.

Absolutely charming old Mexican home. it was absolutely beautiful , lots of tiles and plants and a wonderful lush inner court yard and even a roof terrace. The landlord lived on site and was extremely helpful and very well organized.

It's kind of hard to find a parking around the hotel, streets are very narrow and steep so we left our car around the top of the hill next to the church (only 5 mins walk to the hotel so not a big deal). Bathroom was very tiny but that's just normal for most buildings there so I can't hold it against the hotel. Overall no major negatives.

Hotel has a very local/traditional vibe - nice touches and details. They have a nice terrace where you can just relax with a view of the city. Staff was nice and helpful.
