As others mentioned, the restaurant wasn’t great, especially for the price. However, I think it was comparable to the place across the street. Also the shared bathrooms felt a bit far, especially when it rained our first night.

Amazing waking up to the jungle sounds and both hearing and seeing the howler monkeys. The location was great, walking distance to the ruins and an easy colectivo ride into town. Staff was all very friendly and helpful and kept the shared spaces very clean. They provided plenty of drinking water. The pool was also a great relief in the heat. We also really enjoyed the little interpretive trail with different plants and fruits.

Its not really a hostel, so no activities and a bit further away from the centre so in the evening you have only a couple options for food/drinks. Was fine for a couple days though

House in the jungle, surrounded by animals, pool, live music across the street

The poolwater felt quite dirty. Besides the insects, which are unavoidable in the jungle, the water felt cloudy. Although this is minor criticism. For my personal taste the beds were too hard.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, no question was left unanswered. Sleeping and waking up with the sounds of the jungle is incredible. Our first night we woke up because of screaming monkeys, which you kept hearing every now and then. The flexibility of the hotel to use their facilities after check-out. We could use the lockers for our luggage and were still allowed to use the pool. The amount of security present in the hotel which you saw actively doing their rounds, gave a safe feeling.

The doorms are SMALL! So if you happend to be 4 people in a 4 people door you cant move or put your things. Ist realy small. Theres only a ceiling fan and its not strong so it gets realy hot in the room. If you are in the botom bunk tou will not feel the air at all... The sheard WC and showers are not clean and it looks like a public pool toilets. It couls use some work to say the least.

Nice palce out of the city in the jungel. You hear the animals all the time and see the monkeys.. 2 min with a colectivo to the ruins. The pool is great cos its realy realy realy hot. But its not so clean....theres always bugs in the water and i didnt see the staff cleaning it once...

I booked a room with a normal bed, no bunkbed. Just wish these rooms were also in a cabaña next to the water. Going up a small stairs with my big backpack was a bit inconvenient but ok. 😊

Beautiful place in the jungle, mesmerizing plants, comfortable bed, swimming pool and hammocks. Very clean, good food in the restaurant

The kitchen is very poorly fitted out. No glasses, only plastic and the pans were terrible. It is very small considering the amount of rooms and dormitories. I got the feeling they didnt want you to cook, but rather eat at their restaurant, but then don't advertise a shared kitchen as most hostel travellers want to cook their own meals. Also they had a sign up at the pool that they would charge corkage if you took your own drinks. Again that is not normal for a hostel environment.

The room and pool were great. Easy access to the Palenque Archaeological site with colectivo. We booked a tour to Yaxchilan and Bonampak which was really good, the driver didn't address the English passengers much so we were a little confused sometimes as to what was happening, but all in all a good day. ( long day but amazing site) The toilets are cleaned regularly and staff were friendly. The feeling of being in the jungle and all the jungle noises was amazing.

I thought that the fee to stay a few hours at the hostel past my check out time was excessive.

I absolutely loved this hostel. It's a beautiful place within nature, and has lovely facilities like a pool, a massage area, and there are restaurants within and close b y to the hostel; it's a 5 minute drive by colectivo to the ruins which is a big plus.

Only a fan but no air con - just to be aware. We did not mind and it cools down nicely at night.

Great price for value with a beautiful area with cabanas, ponds, a pool and many hammocks and lots of plants and flowers as well as a restaurant. Great place to relax very close to Palenque ruins with a tourist info on site that we booked the waterfall tour with transportation to San Cristóbal with - highly recommend!

The dorms are super small, about 3x3m square, which might be OK for a twin room, but it's really too tight with 4 beds (2x bunks). OK when you're sleeping, but only one person can be in the room at a time to change or get anything in and out of their bag. For the price a bit more space would be nice.

The pool and hammock areas are divine in a beautiful jungle garden setting. The restaurant staff are excellent and the food not too expensive. Lockers are big enough for all your luggage, but be careful of the gaps into the one below: I lost a charger down the gap and couldn't get it back.

The mix of millennial euros, but as older travellers, I guess you have to suck that up!

The staff were incredible, so lovely and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the showers were the best we've seen in Mexico (so far in 3 weeks anyways). The setting was superb too and within easy waking distance to the ruins. The beer was cold. Need I say more?

The shared kitchen could be improved. Very tiny and used by many. The restaurant was expensive and played loud music. We only got coffee there one day. There is a better dinning option very near by. Was necessary to plug drains to decrease smell.

The pool area, hammocks, and natural setting was very good. It is a very peaceful setting. Howler monkeys visited the trees near the pool one evening and slept there overnight. That was really special. The staff was very nice. The shower pressure and heat was impressive. You can walk to the ruins ticket office, maybe 150 meters away.
