We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

It was one of the most unique experiences we had in Mexico! Saul the owner of the place is a lovely person and made us feel at home, he has 3 lovely dogs, especially Balu! one of them stayed next to our room all night just to guard the place, it felt so safe and joyful with them! Saul welcomed us with a beer and he even took us out to eat with him later that night when we were all very hungry. The place is very special, you truly feel like you are away from everything, perfect for people who're looking for peace away from all the crowd, pool is great, earlier that day we ordered food from UberEATS and it was super easy and fast! We would definitely come back!

Saul is an excellent host who I found very welcoming. The location offers a peaceful atmosphere with unique decor, making it an ideal place for relaxation. Additionally, it is conveniently located for travelers.

Our room didn't have AC. Fortunately the shade of the trees and the cloudy weather made it ok, but it's something to keep in mind if you plan to go during the summer. Also the shower is outside the room and might not provide the privacy you'd expect.

The entire place is surrounded by trees and it makes it really beautiful. The three dogs are very cute and friendly, especially Baloo.

Nothing. It’s perfect.

This place is FANTASTIC. The property is beautiful. The pool is big and gorgeous. The rooms are spacious. The outdoor kitchen is a lovely hangout space. The name “Jungle Lodge” is totally appropriate. I didn’t know I could be right next door to the Cancun airport AND be in in the middle of nature. The owner, Saul, is beyond warm and welcoming— he kept bringing offerings out of his kitchen for our kids and offering to pick things up for us from the grocery store. I think he would have given us the shirt right off his back if he thought we might need it. We only had the opportunity to stay one night as this was our last stop before flying out of Cancun but on our next trip we will definitely stay longer. Highly recommend!

I loved everything, but it wouldn’t be for everyone or all situations. Take in food, or order through Ubereats—very easy and fast.

An enchanted oasis hidden behind a tall gate. Warm and welcoming. Close to the airport, but in a lush and private piece of jungle. Character and charm in all the details. I came here by accident but will return on purpose.

Secluded from the busy part of Cancun, this place was a remote, jungle get away. Very little noise from the city and offered opportunites to walk and enjoy the immediate area. We met so many wonderful people during our stay, just by being in the common area. Take a taxi/uber to the beach or hot spots of Cancun. Uber Eats will deliver there. The host is absolutely amazing and a wonderful human being who we now consider a friend. We loved our stay and would 10/10 book again. *Just a heads up* If you are looking for a traditional stay in a hotel room, this might not be a good fit for you. Most of the rooms are private but a couple of rooms are in the main house are close to the common area and not quite as private as the rooms that are not a part of the house. Everyone was very quiet and respectful but if you are sensitive to privacy, be clear about which room you are looking for. Also, there is no air conditioning in any of the rooms. Fans are there and do a decent job of cooling, which can be an issue for some people. **Bonus** For birders, you can see a Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl on the grounds. They were there daily during our stay and could be sighted almost any time of the day.

As we booked this last minute, and was in a place without full time wifi available, I didn't read the full email Saul sent me and I missed the part about only being able to pay cash. As they are expanding and they will have a few more rooms in the future, it would be helpful to have a different option for payment.

Saul was a fantastic host. Very welcoming and very helpful. The room we stayed in was beautiful, clean, designed with purpose and serene. It is a jungle so there were a few extra 8-legged friends in our room when we woke up, but that added to our experience. It is definitely one of the more unique places I have stayed. The grounds are beautiful, and the authentic feeling of the jungle is something to take in.

I'm picky about my bed, like I am everywhere. So it's nothing new I was uncomfortable. My boyfriend slept great. The room was amazing!!!

It was absolutely gorgeous!!! The host was amazing, so kind and very accommodating. The property was insanely stunning. Eye-candy for days. The host took us on a walk of the property to show us the new additions that he's creating. My God, it's amazing! We will absolutely be back.

This is one of the best places I ever stayed at. You need a laid back state of mind before you enter this paradise. It is like hanging out with friends in this little paradise. The pool is a true marvel, the bungalows I would get back to, to write a novel or so. You're truly in the jungle here. Dogs and owner are worth five stars.

Beautiful place near the Cancún Airport. It feels like you’re far away in the jungle bc of all the beautiful greenery around the property, but all conveniences are nearby. The pool is gorgeous. Saul is an awesome host who is friendly and will make you feel right at home. It is a real travelers paradise!

Without a car, taxis are the only way to reach the Jungle Lodge. Taxi drivers may try to discourage people from staying at the lodge as they are unfamiliar with the location, and the roads are not well maintained. It’s best to contact Saul’s recommended taxi drivers ahead of time.

Jungle Lodge is very peaceful and lush, with many areas to sit and eat or relax inside and outside. The owner and host, Saul, is friendly, and very helpful to guests - he gave us free-reign to cook in the main kitchen as there are no restaurants close-by.

Saul is a lovely host and made an incredible stay so close to Cancun airport. We cooked together and he made me taste the typical salsa verde, so delicious. Thank you :). A secret jungle just 15 minutes from the airport and centre of town.
