The cabin was super dark cause the lights were so dim. I had to use my phone's flashlight to go through my things cause I could barely see them at night with all the lights on. The bathroom was very hot and had no windows. It was overall a bit uncomfortable, but for just one night it was fine. I don't think I would stay much longer

The bed was amazing, seriously one of the most comfortable beds I've experienced in a hotel. The sheets were also super soft! The views of the lagoon were so beautiful, and the area down next to the water was great. We even got picked up to do a tour from the pier there, top service. The staff were nice and helpful. There were kayaks, though we didn't use them.

This was an incredible place to stay! It was the perfect location and they had bikes to use! We didn’t use the kayaks because it was very windy when we got there but we made good use of the life jackets as floatation devices to float in the water. It felt very safe and the staff was very nice! The cabins were spacious, the ac worked great and the beds were comfortable. It’s a quiet place and the private deck was the best place in the world! We all want to come back and stay there!

This place was amazing! 😍 Great location! Personnel were super friendly and extremely helpful! Bikes and single person Kayaks were available for free... Great view from the cabins... Cabin 4 was my favorite!! Other cabins are also awesome but 4 was much better than 6 or 7. Jose Antonio, Yoli, and Roberto are awesome! And I'm sorry to the cleaning ladies cause I didn't get their names but the rooms were impeccable.. even though I didn't get their names, I left the cleaning ladies their tips each day though! Overall this place was one of the most beautiful places I've been to!! Thanks Bacalar my love and staff!!

Comfortable and well equipped cabins by the lakeside. Good beds, aircon and showers; lovely views and nice swimming. Generally quiet location. Free kayaks and bikes were really nice. Lovely people running the place. Despite the reviews- the WiFi is excellent and access to town centre easy by taxis or bike .

If you're booking this place to explore Bacalar, be aware that it's quite far from the center. However, the place does provide bikes, which is great. Since we were aware of the location in advance, we also arranged another stay in the center later during our trip to Bacalar. There are some restaurants within walking distance, but don't expect cheap prices; for more affordable options, you'll need to go to Bacalar center. Be sure to bring mosquito spray with you because the cabin isn't completely mosquito-proof. Keep in mind, you're in the jungle after all. We were prepared for this, so it wasn't a problem that we would have needed to complain about. Maybe a mosquito net over the bed would be a good development for the place :)

Breathtakingly beautiful location with access to the lagoon. We booked this place specifically to enjoy the lagoon, and it was perfect for that! Having free kayaks available was awesome, and we made great use of them for a day. The staff was lovely and always available to help.

A breathtaking location. the balcony off the main room has just about the best view in Bacalar. There are bicycles and also kayaks available to adventure out to the beautiful bright blue cenotes. And I have to mention the service - very attentive and eager to help. We are definitely returning.

The place wasn't as well maintained and clean as we had hoped and other than emptying the trash cans and making the bed, the room was not cleaned during our stay.

given its location, there are quite a few boat tours that pass by the dock (sometimes every 5 minutes) so if you are looking for tranquility and isolation in nature, this might not be it. I also thought that the way most of the bungalows are placed don’t offer much privacy (get the two front ones if possible). the bungalows were cute and cosy but not mosquito-proof. too bad they don’t serve any foods or drinks, so bring your own or ask the receptionist about delivery.

this property is in a prime location in Bacalar: right above a cenote and in front of some of the best views of the lagoon. 💯 10 min from the centre by bike, provided by the hotel. it’s a lovely ride. kayaks also available free of charge. very nice and helpful staff. excellent value for money. beautiful views in and around the property. large hot shower.

we were happy with all the services of the hotel

with the coffee machine in the room and our own buys we had breakfast on the deck of our palapa house. unfortenetly we were in house nr. 1 next to the entrance and reception, so we had only a small view to the lagoon. so it was also a bit noisier then the ones closer to the lagoon. for the moment and maybe one year more there is a railroad beeing built and thousands of trucks with material are circulating in the main highway about 200meters away, and they are loud, in europe forbidden for many years already, but we wanted to come to mexico, so we are here. the free bicecles and kayaks are great for sure although we only used the kayaks, but these every morning just after breakfast. good restaurants are also close by, so we were able to walk and taste the wine from baja california! more restaurants are around the central square and another perfect seafood restaurant on the beach, la playita. the photo is takes from up the stairs going to the private deck of the hotel where one can chill out after a heavy paddeling with the kayak.
