the breakfast wasn’t very appealing. it didn’t have any taste and wasn’t a lot.

it has a lovely vibe, quite petit hotel. swimmingpool is small but a nice place to chill as well as the rooftop wut hammocks. the decorator has a great sense of style.

The rooms are nice but not as nice as the rest of the overall impression I had from the hotel. There I would have expected more.

A lovely Boutique Hotel in the center of Bacalar. The walking distance to the ADO bus is only 15 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast in the hotel was good. It is also located very close to a good Restaurant called La Playita. A great place on the lagoon to go for a drink or some food. I also liked the lagoon boat tour the hotel recommend us. It was with Iselitas Tours and is worth ever cent.

Only one minor thing: next to the hotel there is a bar playing live music, so sometimes it's a bit noisy from 9 PM until about 1 AM. But they actually play really nice and with earplugs it's no problem at all. And anyway, you didn't come to Bacalar to go to bed early, right? ;-)

Rooms are spacious, beautiful and clean, well equipped with mini fridge, coffee machine, hair dryer and everything you need. Beds are very comfy. Location is top. In the center but still in a not too crowded area right next to the beautiful lagoon. Breakfast is delicious, you have to try the fresh fruits and waffles. Staff is super friendly, gives you helpful tipps about the area and activities and makes you feel like home. Special thanks to Santiago, Julia and Tommaso! You made our trip to Bacalar perfect! :-)

This is nothing that the hotel can help, but important to know nevertheless. There's a bar nearby that plays really loud music. We were there on a Wednesday and Thursday night and had to use our earplugs both nights because it was so loud.

We loved everything about the hotel. The rooms where beautifully decorated, the staff was friendly, loved the pool and a very decent breakfast was included. Best price-quality we've had for our entire three week vacation on the yucatan Peninsula. Absolute luxury at a very reasonable price.

That we didn’t stay longer. There was also a bar down the street which on certain nights played loud music. Staff at hotel were considerate to leave ear plugs in the rooms.

Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous landscaping. Clean and well taken care of. Great value. Will definitely return!

Cold shower, but that a minor complaint regarding Bacalars climate.

Where do I start. The pool, the hammocks, the rooftop (the view!), the staff, the whirlpool, the styling of the room. Everything is great.

The Aires Hotel is awesome through and through! All employees are so incredibly friendly and always tried hard to make our stay pleasant. we were there for 4 days and would have loved to stay longer! When we arrived we had a room on the ground floor we asked whether one on the first floor would be free from tomorrow? When we came back the next day from our boat tour organized by the hotel, our luggage was already in the new room. also the pool just to feel good. and there was also a parking space. So in conclusion: yes, yes and yes again! <3

In the evening loud music from neighbouring bar played until 3AM. We barely slept that night. We read some comments about noise but we didn’t know it would be that bad. If you don’t mind about noise it’s a perfect stay. They offer ear buds but that is just a stopgap measure. It’s a pity for the hotel because otherwise it would be a perfect stay.

The room met our expectations. The location is very central, close to the restaurants. Close to the lake.

Unfortunately the room smelled pretty mouldy and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling. This is due to the high humidity in Bacalar but this issue needs to be solved.

Stayed here for one night only. Located right in the town center of Bacalar with everything reachable within short walks it was a lovely stay to explore Bacalar and its amazing lagoon. The room was comfortable, good breakfast and the staff very helpful with booking day trips or taxis.

we payed for the superior room with lake view and they give us the ground floor and it was full of ants in the bed cuz the wall in the top of the bed was full of ants too and there were having insects in the room too .

next to a very noisy bar which was playing loud music until 2am. they could not move my room. the room was literally vibrating. they actually have a box with ear lugs next to the bed so this should be stated upon booking.
