We couldn't use the balcony or open the window as neighborhood is too close to reach other. Even the car couldn't reach the front door of the hotel though it is only few steps away from the accessible road. Breakfast could be improved with healthy choices.

Prompt and timely service. We were well received, guided and supported by their courteous staff right from the airport and back to the airport. Room was clean, comfortable and we got free upgrade though we were staying for a night. Good dinner options, covering a wide geography.

We spent 2 nights at either end of our trip at The Somerset and our stay was fantastic each time with responsive and friendly service, well serviced rooms and a great half board deal with the Belle Amie restaurant next door. This is a terrific base being only minute away from the boat ports and less than 15 minutes from the airport.

Wonderful, friendly service and very good arrangement with Belle Amie restaurant making this a super convenient and excellent value for money stay. The rooms are perfect for short to medium stays and there are bigger rooms for longer stays too. The transfers are seamless and well communicated for a really easy welcome to Male and the Maldives.

The fan in the room is noisy and Aircon not cold enough as compared to living room. The sofa bed at outside was noisy. Check in process little slow. Breakfast is not impressive.

Airport transfer is smooth, very convenient, staffs are friendly Location is great, very near to the market The room is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable, two pillows as support. Bathroom was great, multiple bottles of water readily available.

The suite is small and the A/C at the bedroom in room 206 is not working properly. Tip: before you pay the room expenses, cross check Booking rate against their invoice.

The hotel is located at Male and offering free shuttle bus to/from the airport. i stayed at the hotel for less than 5 hours since my seaplane had to arrive before sunset and my international back home flight is departing at the late night. i have been told that bthe restaurant on the site is rated as one of the best in Male but i didn't try it

The restaurant is really good - a talented chef. The room was comfortable for a 1 night stay which we enjoyed. The location is perfect. Airport transfers were a real bonus for us.

No pool and view of aircon units and roofs from windows but it didn’t matter too much for the purpose of our pre-departure stay.

It was close to the few interesting things to see in Male; The museum (across the road), Sultans Park (behind museum), fish and fresh market. We even walk to the man made locals beach (women must wear Tshirt & shirts that cover thighs to swim at the beach though) and the blue mosque).

Getting a nice hotel in Male City could be daunting. Iloved the restaurant and variety of meals they had and the room was peaceful and beautifully set up for the standard.

It isn't the best location for the main attractions of the Maldives like beaches, being a a bit of a walk from the nearest public artificial beach and a 20 minute taxi drive from the nicer one but it is right beside a museum and shops to make up for it. Don't expect any view.

The staff was excellent in arranging our PCR test and transit for our very early morning flight out. The location is good if you are interested in getting to or from the airport quickly and without a boat ride, which was the main reason we stayed as this was an unexpected stop on our trip. The breakfast buffet was adequate with plenty of options, and the hotel restaurant has good food at it's price.

Everything was very nice, I can say the best hotel located in heart off the city from what I can see, staff very nice and helpfull, food in restoran was very good, staff on reception and restoran very nice people, we have nice time there, and for sure if we come back in Male we would chose same hotel

you cannot really “use” the small balconies as there is a pigeon issue in the street.

The only negative was that the water heater didn't stay hot through 2 consecutive showers.
