Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All members of the team were friendly, polite and willing to help. The rooms are spacious and very clean, air conditioning. Towels were changed every day.

RussiaFood is mostly the same every day with a little changes. No buffet, so no possibility to choose meals and amount - food is served per person. There are several construction sites near the guesthouse which are noisy. Stadium near guesthouse also makes a lot of noise. You can never have curtains opened at the first floor because everyone passing by will look into your room. As it is island with local people, there is muezzin singing loud several times per day. A LOT OF FLIES at the eating area. Literally 10-20 every time.
Food is very tasty except breakfasts, breakfasts are 'okay'. Free bikes and snorkeling equipment. Guesthouse owner is very cheerful and kind. Closer to the beach comparing to other guesthouses on Thoddoo.

United Kingdominternet was not stable from our room but from reception it was good apart from that everything excellent.
We had a great time at Summer in Thoddoo. Muaz and Raju were very helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean. The bikes provided for free were really handy. Muaz was always available to arrange fishing trips and agricultural tour. I highly recommend the island is very beautiful and calm.

RussiaThe internet in the room is very weak. There is no soap in the room. Soap must be bought or brought with you. On the day of arrival, I did not even know how to wash my hands. The area nearby is a dirty, dug up road, rubbish, broken chairs, tools, plastic bottles. I paid more money for accommodation than was required. The owner didn't give me back my change until I reminded him. Since the weather in September is unpredictable, the speedboat to the airport can take not 1 hour, but 2 or 2.5 hours. In order not to be late for the flight, I decided to leave one day earlier. The owner did not meet me halfway and did not return the money for 1 day. I was hoping that he would return either the money for the room or taxes, but no. So I just gave him $80. I think this is not fair.
Large room, large soft bed, balcony - you can smoke. There is always hot water. The hotel is located near the beach, you can walk in 7-10 minutes or by bike. Delicious Maldivian breakfast.

BrazilDifficulties in communicating with staff due to English level I felt like although the property is very good considering its location, the price is a bit higher than other places with a similar setting.
