I had asked in advance if I could pay with credit card and they warned me that I could pay with credit card but I would also pay the 3.5% in credit card fees. For that reason, I went to the ATM in Male and got enough cash in rufiyaa to pay my US$260 bill. But when I gave them the rufiyaa, there was a big issue. They said if I paid in rufiyaa they could only give me an 18:1USD exchange rate rather than the 15:1 bank rate (something about the black market). That meant my stay would cost 10% more than what I had booked for. When I questioned whether we could find a solution together to this problem, they suggested I just pay in USD. I pointed out that then I would have all this rufiyaa I could not use before I went home. At that point they reminded me that I could leave but my booking was nonrefundable. That inflexible and stern reaction was a bit of a shock and left me feeling very uncomfortable/threatened. In hundreds of stays in dozens of countries, I have never before been charged extra for paying cash in local currency. If there is some problem with them accepting their own currency for payment at a rate reasonably close to the established exchange rate, that really needs to be clearly communicated in advance.

Abu and Ali are very attentive, structured, serious people and run a tight ship. As a result, the place is very clean and quiet and well-cared for. They communicated the rules and their expectations at the beginning. Ali gave a tour of the island when I arrived and loaned me snorkeling fins for free. The included breakfast was really good, and my room was very, very comfortable. The wifi worked quite well. Ali also proactively gave me all of the information I needed for the public ferry, helped me get my things to the dock when leaving, and followed up later to make sure I had arrived safely at my destination.

On the pricey side, as is everything on the island.

This is a small modern-styled hotel with a handful of rooms, with some expansion work going on. Room was cozy and proper, on the smallish side, but very contemporary in its appointments. Large bed, modest-sized bathroom, fridge, with limited outdoor views; lighting, AC and wifi are all excellent. Owners/workers are very attentive and always available for help. A decent breakfast is included. Nice community atmosphere given small size of place.

We had a fantastic stay at sevinex inn. From start to finish the staff were fantastic. We did 3 trips with the hotel at a very reasonable price for the location. Breakfast was good on all occasions. This place is a brilliant stay for those who want privacy and calm atmosphere. There are really small amount of other tourists, at my stay I never seen more than 4 others at once. The beach is outstanding. Very quiet.

Maybe start the breakfast earlier. To be fair, it's true that if someone has a trip they will provide it earlier, but you must remind them in advance. That aside, all good.

The place is very nice and near the harbour and beaches. Staff is helpful and always try to accommodate requests and solve problems. Recommended. Great value for money.

We have been staying at the hotel and we certainly cannot have more than words of gratitude for the treatment received by Ali and Abdul, they have made everything very easy for us. It is the most suitable place to stay in Feridhoo and with good breakfasts. I would recommend it 1000 times. As for the island, a haven of tranquillity, where time passes slowly, where the white sand and the colour of the water leave you breathless. A place where you can enjoy the tranquillity and authenticity of the island's people, very welcoming and friendly.

Feridhoo is a great island for those seeking tranquility. There were just few other foreign people on the island. Sevinex Inn is a great choice especially thanks to the guys running it. During your stay they will become not only your concierge but also friends. Stunning stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Savinex Inn, and I must say, it was an experience that truly made me feel like home. From the moment Ali met me at the ferry station, I was greeted with genuine warmth and a level of hospitality that surpassed my expectations. Ali and Abdulla went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. Every interaction was filled with genuine care and attention to detail. It was evident that they take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel like home while staying an the island. One of the highlights of my stay was Bikini Beach, which is about 6-7 minutes walk from the hotel. Absolutely gorgeous, almost all the time I was the only person there, which gave a sense of tranquility and comfort. For breakfasts I had a a delightful fusion of local and international cuisine and the quality of the food was consistently excellent. I also appreciate that Ali and Abdulla made alterations to breakfasts according to my preferences. And for dinners I went to the nearest restaurant, and often found myself lingering over meals, savoring every bite. Finally, I cannot emphasize enough the exceptional service provided by the hotel's staff, starting from organized transfer from Male. They anticipated my needs and went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I required during my stay, which truly made me feel like a valued guest. Definitely would love to come back in the future!

🌴 Review of the Maldives! 🌊🐠✈️🌍 I want to share with you my impressions of my holiday in the Maldives. I chose a small island with locals and several cozy hotels, and I can say that it was just unforgettable! That's why: 🌞 Climate: The weather was just perfect! Windy and not too hot, especially when compared to Dubai. My skin enjoyed a light breeze and the water temperature was just perfect for swimming. 💦 Water color: Words can't describe how beautiful the colors of the local water are! This is something incredible and indescribable. I always wanted to swim in this wonderful ocean. 🐠 Underwater World: It's amazing that even without going far from the shore with a mask and snorkel, you find yourself in a real aquarium. I personally saw more than 15 species of fish! I was especially struck by stingrays and small sharks. And I also saw a fish with what seemed to be puffed up lips. It was an amazing sight! 🌅 Sunsets: Simply gorgeous! When I sat and watched them, I just wanted to silently enjoy this incredible spectacle or listen to my favorite electronic music. Sunsets in the Maldives are a real fairy tale! 😊 Locals: The people living on the island were very nice and kind. Everyone was friendly and ready to help. I felt at home there. Their kindness and openness added a special atmosphere to my holiday. Sounds of the surf and waves 🌊These sounds created the perfect background accompaniment for relaxation and rest. I spent a lot of time just listening to the ocean, enjoying its music and sinking into a state of deep relaxation. 🌏 Future trips: I definitely remember this unforgettable mini-vacation in the Maldives and I definitely want to visit other islands in the future. Especially since they are so close to Dubai. Feridhoo is little heaven, the beach, ocean and the island is amazing and Sevenix Inn is the place in heaven where you can find your home... Ali and Abu are wonderful hosts, you get family-like hospitality... Everything is perfect.

The whole guest house is great with a perfect central location on an Island. As soon as you step into the house you can start your holidays. Abdul and Ali will take care of you and all your needs. The house is well equiped and very quiet. The beach is a walking distance, and the Feridhoo Island is perfect for a stay far away from the tourist crowd.

We got quite a lot of rain, but that is not up to the host who provided us umbrellas.

We were a family with 2 small kids and a honeymoon couple. Accommodation was nice. AC was working well. It was very clean inside. The hosts were very nice with us explaining everything clearly, being very friendly as well. We got a Kayak from the host so we could go a bit along the island. Our son was very happy about it. Beach is 5 minutes away walking distance where there are sunbeds and umbrellas from Sevinex Inn for free. Scenery is beautiful, nice corals and fish while for snorkeling. Transfer for the luggage was included from the little harbour to the accommodation and back. We got breakfast included at a restaurant 3 minutes walking distance away. First option was continental and the other three options were maldivian. Staff very nice there being always considerate with our kids.
