The food delivered to me when I ordered room services was old and not worth the money. The gym could be refreshed; the equipment is old and looks very used.

The location was great - close to the airport and to the diving sites. The property is very spacious and clean. It does have some areas that should be refreshed; example: bins in the rooms, gym equipment, cabinets in the room.

I loved everything, from the moment I stepped out of the airport and greeted by Kurumba transfer staff, I felt welcomed, as soon as I arrived at Kurumba Maldives i could feel the passion of the staff working at the resort, the room was magnificent, with all amenities included, I had a beautiful view of the beach from my room, Anna was helpful in touring me around the island before I enjoyed the resort and all it had to offer. The best holiday I’ve ever had!

Sorry, but there was nothing not to like. It was really great all round.

Where to start...just fantastic, don't have a single negative review. Staff was incredibly polite, helpful and always smiling. The location was just the best as the transfer was only 10mins from the airport. Island it slept was really well maintained and literally had everything you needed from entertainment, sports and relaxation. Lovely variety of food amongst the many restaurants and quality was great. Loved the place and hope to go back for another break.

Unwillingness to budge on our transfer time even though there were 5 of us and they were catering to everyone else but refused to cater at all to a group of all women!

My only complaint is the transfers. I had to wait for 45 minutes for a transfer on arrival, but they refused to move a transfer back to the airport when there was 5 of us going at the same time by even 5 minutes due to others. I felt as if it was because we were all female because they were catering to everyone else but refused to cater at all to us. I have no complaints about any other part of my stay!

1. It was a noisy environment as there were a lot of planes taking off and landing during the whole day. Many were even flying across the island during the whole day. I believe that the atoll is on a flight path. This made the stay a bit uncomfortable. 2. We had some issues with the lights, which were inoperative in our bedroom and required lengthy maintenance. Looks like the room was not checked properly prior to our check-in. 3. The flushing mechanism of the toilet tank was in a continuous flushing mode. 4. Minibar items were not removed as requested. 5. Taxes and food prices are high. So watch out for hidden costs. 6. Beware : Two hours late check out will cost you USD 150 + Tax. 7. Prior to our checkout, a man from the reception called to our room and was very rude to us on the phone. The girls at the reception were polite. More respect is expected towards the customers.

The location of our room was excellent as it was directly on the beach, which was just perfect (10/10). The atol is nicely maintained, very clean, and green. The room service was excellent, and the towels and bed sheets were replaced regularly. The outside bathroom was amazing. The employees of the restaurants were very polite and helpful. We had dinner in five restaurants and tested some other eating facilities as well. They are all to be recommended. Our favourite restaurant was the Japanese restaurant (Hamakaze). The show by the cook was amazing. The breakfast was excellent, but if you are muslim, you watch out as Pork is served as well. Hajer (the girl who handled our check-in) was very helpful and is recommended to all arabic speaking customers. The bar area was nice. I regularly had coffee there, and kids had some games such as Monopoly, Scrabble, etc... available. There were different styles of llive bands every night. The 24/24 gym is great. Pool and Pingpong tables are available free of choice.

I loved the way the villa is set up, from the bedroom to the beach—the view is amazing. The staff are very prompt in responding and always there to assist. The breakfast is great, with plenty of choices, including healthy and fresh options. The bathroom is like a celebrity-style facility, making every penny worth it. I should mention a few names who made me feel at home: Anna at reception, Morton, the property manager, who ensures all guests are well taken care of, Niafu, the supervisor who was very helpful, and Saif, who provided an unforgettable shark snorkeling experience.

The garden and the food were very good.

Everything was perfect related to dinners and breakfast. The staff was very polite and helpful. They were really hard working people. The west part of the island was beautiful and provided with a remarkable scenery. The beach though was very shallow (1.5 meters deep was the maximum you could get within the atoll. This didn't meet my expectations. I would have preferred a beach more deep, to have a little swim here and there.

Everything was great. There were honestly no complaints. One thing people might have a problem with is however the airplane noise since it is close to the airport.

we had buffet breakfast and dinner,excellent meal both times,and different varieties of food. The property was lovely and there was always something to do. The scuba diving experience was one of a kind and the photography team was also great. My favourite part has to be the free kayaking we get each day. The proximity to the airport was also a good advantage. Overall we had a lovely time.

I wouldn’t exactly put this as a defect, but as some people have said before there are lots of planes, taking off and arriving every day. Since it’s very close to the Capital Male (8 min with boat), You can see and hear them throughout the day. It’s not a big problem, but for people looking for absolute seclusion this isn’t the place. I saw many couples, people with family, and everyone seemed happy and content. I was a bit sad to see plastic bottles at the sea during the day, but it’s not fault from the hotel. They clean it constantly and They say most of it comes from the capital. One bathroom didn’t have a good smell. (We booked 2 rooms).

When I read reviews from Maldives I constantly see people talking about the crew. I won’t to start here any differently: abundance of smiles and sympathy just makes the place so much better. I have a kid with a severe food allergy and since the first night, the wonderful sous chef Lakmal was so atentious and brought our son special dessert every night because he couldn’t eat anything on the menu. with a kid with this kind of problem, This makes a huge difference. The room is great: the beds are comfortable, outside bathroom is absolutely delicious and I alternated between having shower inside and outside (there are two showers the kind of bedroom I stayed at). I asked for a room on the ground floor to be able to stay directly at the beach and it was wonderful. The beach is great and very calm. Tha water has such a warm temperature!. I brought a snorkel and tried to see some animals: I’ve gotten to see sharks, turtle and a lot of beautiful marine life. Good swimming pool. The meals are very high-quality; and I say this is a cook who works with this as well, and knows how hard it is to achieve a good quality with a big quantity. Great food, amazing breakfast full of food for every taste. Fresh fruits, local food, European food and some junk food as well 😂. Great dinner. We had half board. I thought we might be hungry with only two meals per day, but for us it was enough. I was also really scared about having something from the bar, but the drinks weren’t That’s expensive. I mean a beer can cost $10 but a cocktail cost 12 or 14. It’s not so cheap but also if you want some nice refreshment, it’s doable. We had a great time at this hotel and I’ll always remember what a beautiful relaxing place it is. We were very well taken care of by the kind, friendly and efficient crew. Thank you for everyone in Kurumba! Ps: Happy hour at Sunday was a good and pleasant surprise :) Very nice extra touch. I recommend this place!

We had an ant problem in the bathroom after rain. In fairness it was an outdoor shower and open air bath.

Much less food options during the lunch buffet, especially for kids, when compared to what they had before. They tried to charge us for whiskies and vodkas from the minibar that were never consumed. The mini breakfast package provided on the last day (for take away) had bites on the fruits and cakes, and the juice was half consumed as well. Bizarre! No life vests were offered for the boat trip from the hotel to the airport. The boat had to come back to the island due to technical issues.

Very convenient location, short boat ride. Staff is very friendly, easy check-in process. Room was very spacious, clean, beautiful view. Lots of restaurants and activities for kids.
