Kaani hotel is the nearest hotel from the airport located in Maafushi Island. Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our stay in Maafushi Island, the beach is really beautiful and good for relaxation.

We were not warned about needing to reserve a seat on the ferry coming back from Male.

Rooms were exceptionally clean. Balcony facing the ocean, although not private, was a great feature. Staff was friendly.

There were too many passengers in a small boat for the real break snorkeling tour. As a result, it was congested and queue time to board and disembark the boat for snorkeling was very long.

We were upgraded to a seaview room of Kaani Grand Seaview Hotel. The room is spacious. The beach view from the balcony was great. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel organizes several half day and full day snorkeling tour packages which include taking underwater videos and photos for the customers.

The lack of a lift when I was staying on the second floor.

It was comfortable and clean. The house keeping staff did a very good job. Breakfast was very good.

The customer service was awesome. High five to Tiger for making us feel so welcome when we arrived very late. The room was comfy and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is great for walking to bikini beach and the harbour. I really enjoyed the breakfast spread, especially the Indian food 😀.

We were given a free upgrade to Kaani Palm Beach Hotel, which was the newest hotel they had built and this review is dedicated towards this hotel and its staff. The location was perfect. The staff was very professional and very friendly. The rooms were spacious, facilities were all well met and food was quite acceptable. All of these made the hotel very well recommended for value and comfort.

The receptionist is not organized when I came. She didn’t even explained what I have to pay like other hotel did. We waited 25 minutes after the check in time to get our room ready which is unacceptable because we are very tired bcs we came from london. Some part of the hotel needs improvement little bit old.

Everyday someone will clean your room. The breakfast is good. Everyday different varieties. Staff is so nice. Location is perfect.

Excellent cleanliness (Thanks Naasheem!). Bed linen and towels changed everyday. Excellent location closed to the main beach. Very good quality/cost balance. 2 complimentary bottles of water every day in the room

Noisy, some smell from the bathroom window, outdated furnitures. Looks totally different from the pictures.

We stayed 4 days at Kaani beach. Breakfast and dinner we had at other Kaani hotels nearby. Helpful staff, perfect location if you want to stay on the crowdy beach… Maafushi is not Maldives but there are so many options to spend the day outside the hotel and the island. Kaani beach is a normal hotel, a little bit outdated but clean. Comfortable beds and pillows- that is important. We just need to sleep there.

I have stayed at Kaani beach and the only issue was there is nobody at the reception in kaani beach, you need to walk maybe 500m till Kaani Grand to talk with the receptionist if you need something . Also there wasn’t much variety of options for lunch/dinner food at the kaani grand restaurant, mostly it was indian food, anyway it was ok

I went to this trip alone and staff was very helpful with everything, i would like to say a special thank you to Tiger, one of the managers in Kaani Grand. The breakfast also is very good.

The nearest beach was Bikini Beach, which was small yet cozy. I loved it. The breakfast buffet was amazing with good variety of world food. Room was clean and comfortable. One of the staff named Tiger was very nice and friendly. He explained things in a very nice manner.

Our 1st visit to Maafushi was great. Celebrating our 15th years anniversary. The location is amazing. The vibes are very nice. The staff were great. We love the comfy bed. Thank you so much to Mr Tiger for the warm greetings. Funny man he is. We had breakfast and dinner buffet in Kaani Palm and the service there was superb! Thanks to Mr Shafeeq, Ms Diah, Ms Anika and all f&b staffs there. Every morning and evening we were greeted with warmth smiles and they looked as if they can't wait to serve us which makes us feel so close and comfortable. Thank you to Mr Ronnie for serving and taking care of our romantic candle light dinner. He took nice pictures of us too! Last but not least Mr Shamim who definitely makes our room tidy every single day with beautiful and different decorations. We love the Friday night live band as well. Thank you Kaani Hotels for the unforgettable holiday and memorable moments we had. Will definitely visit again soon. Thank you ❤️

The buffet choices can still be improved and some items were at times abit too salty.

The people in general were friendly and the staffs at Kaani beach all three were very friendly and helpful.Staffs like Sakthivel,Mark, Eeman, Shamim and Tiger were a few names that make you feel at home. These are just a few names. All the excursions with the hotel were fantastic and its a must to do them, no regrets.Rooms n bathroom were clean and comfy.
