The design of the bathroom and that sometimes you need to wait maximum 15 minutes for hot water.

Big and clean rooms, good food and plenty restaurants included in the complex, nice staff. A lot of water activities included, you just had to reserve them.

Service although attentive, incorrect, incomplete drinks orders were the norm in the buffet restaurant. Musty, spell of drains in the bedroom.

There was some things that I think the hotel could work on to improve itself. The rooms are designed without a wall in the bathroom so you hear family members in the bathroom when in the bedroom also shower steam and smells stays in the room. The room looks great but not very functional. Upon arrival the welcome talk and tour we got was too much information to take in and most of the talk was about the 10 restaurants they have on site but sadly when we went to book some restaurants we were told there was no availability apart from one restaurant on one night which was on the last day of our weeks stay. I didn’t manage to book a table for my birthday. I think an information app about the hotel would be better with a QR code in the room. I liked the fact that the hotel was trying to be plastic free but we found they could improve on it starting with the eco shop have better snacks more options maybe biscuits snacks made in the hotel more options for kids as there are no shops nearby. Also we brought three small individual biscuits for about £5 in UK you can buy five packets of biscuits for that price eco shouldn’t mean expensive. We didn’t drink enough water as we had to go to the eco shop and get more each day and as our room was 1237 (at the end on the hotel) it was a walk there and back just for water. It would be better if the hotel had a drinking fountain on each floor where guests can fill up drinking water in the glass bottles. They don’t have tea, coffee, sugar in the rooms you have to get them free from the eco shop which raise hygiene concerns as they were in glass jars we didn’t know how old or clean they were, what previous guest had used or put in them. It would be better if the guest go to the eco shop and the staff member fills the new clean jars as and when requested. And only the amount needed so no waste is made then after the guest checks out they are emptied and wash ready for the next guest.

Overall our time at the Ravenala Attitude hotel was good. The water sports and equipment options were good. Good location. Good beach games for adults and older kids.

The location of the room. We were in room 2104 (couples suite), which was close to the delivery area/water distillation area. The rolling of trolleys and noise levels weren't great.

We loved the facilities and food on offer. There are many activities to partake in throughout the day. We loved the water sport activities. The staff are always available to assist.

The room has some sort of smell of mold. Wasn't too bad though. The hotel is massive so be ready to walk. Buffet food needs to improve. Book the restaurants in advance.

Great hotel for families and couples. There were many activities, The staff was very nice and polite. Many pools, good vibe. Has nice balconies to relax. Nice rooms.

Reservations at the restaurants caused us a problem apart from the main buffet restaurant (Mozaik) where no booking is required. The lady at the restaurant reservation desk was most unhelpful. However after insisting to speak to the duty manager, he quickly sorted this and arranged a table at their lovely Italian restaurant. He even went over and beyond to come to the table and appologise and gave us a complementary bottle of wine. That meant so much to us and we had a lovely meal and a most enjoyable evening. It is important that you book restaurants 24 hours in advance which we did not know at the time.

We enjoyed the complex, the room, breakfast and dinner.

Spectacular hotel in a gorgeous location! This hotel has it all. The food is superb, the aesthetic is gorgeous, the pools are big, there are tropical birds everywhere. I thoroughly recommend it. My wife even liked the stray dogs. You can access boat trips from the beach.

No elevators to the rooms, it’s a massive resort where you can get lost, building and rooms are rather tired, they need a retouch. I guess for that price they aren’t bad, but they could do with a mini renovation and deeper cleaning. The dinner at the main restaurant was also rather bad - directed at children who like bad food than adults with a refined taste. The beach is also not that good - feels like an artificial lake with stagnant water. I can see why families looking for a budget stay would stay there but it’s also far from everything: u basically have to stay in the resort and spend ur entire vacation from pool to pool eating pizza and burgers.

It is very hard to get reservations for the restaurants. If you go for a short stay, chances are the speciality restaurants will be fully booked all the time.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Ravenala. The resort is beautiful and has a wonderful layout, with gorgeous swimming pools and beach area. The kids club was lovely for the kids and the food was generally really good!
