Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandA number of issues which we passed on to the agents. Poor instructions fir getting on- should have sent by email and had to phone for them and then they were not clear. No hot water in the kitchen or utility room. Not set up for a shower in the bathroom. Inadequate cooking equipment especially saucepans. Coffee maker unusable. Not enough furniture for 6 people. No bags for waste disposal as per the schedule. WiFi only covers the main room and not usable elsewhere.
Location and view. A very spacious apartment.

GermanyFirstly, communication with the host was sometimes difficult. We made a mistake when booking and there was no support from the host. We had to clarify everything ourselves with Booking. Secondly, you are also asked to upload a copy of an ID card as there is no reception. I found this critical in terms of data protection (I had to make sure that critical or irrelevant data was censored). Thirdly, on arrival it was a bit confusing which code belonged to which lock. The combination lock for the physical key worked. The code for the digital lock did not work. Fourthly, at first glance we were very impressed with the size and layout of the accommodation. After a closer look, however, we quickly noticed flaws. There was almost nothing that was fully functional. The air conditioning in the living room did not work. The balcony door could not be closed (we felt unsafe). The shower head in the bathtub was broken. The oven was difficult to use. The bed is wobbly. Overall, everything is old and worn. Fifth, overall the apartment was clean. However, immediately after arrival there was a dead cockroach in the bedroom, which made us very disgusted. Sixthly, the wifi did not work on arrival. Seventh, in the evening it can get very noisy on the balcony due to the nearby beach club and the street below the balcony. There was also a handyman on site who repaired the balcony door. However, the door could still not be locked, because he forgot to repair the other side (Locks on right and left side). He repaired the shower head in the bathroom. He said that the air conditioning has probably been broken for a long time and can no longer be repaired, as this would be a matter for the whole house community. He was also able to confirm that the digital lock was not working because the wifi was broken. He was able to repair the wifi. To summarize, we would have expected much more for the price we paid.
The location was good. There are many restaurants nearby. The view from the balcony is very nice. You can watch the sunset in the evening. Parking was never really a problem either, there was always a free parking space, usually down by the water park. Large rooms.

Singapore1/ Aircon is not working the place is like an oven. The property manager promises fake repairs. 2/ Bathroom door is broken, you need to dismantle the door to enter 3/ no wifi in the rooms, so you either are in the oven like living room with wifi or cooled in the room with no connection 4/ master bed room bed is about to collapse anytime 5/ the whole place is based on fake advertisements, dirty plates with food still on it, yellow toilet seats etc...
View is beautiful and the living room is very well decorated

IrelandGetting in and out of the apartment took a bit of managing as keys are needed to get into the apartment and also out of the apartment. With a large group heading in different directions it takes a bit of communication. However there is a lockbox at the entrance that can be used by guests.
Fabulous apartment with amazing views in an excellent location just on the prom and very close to the beach and restaurants. Kitchen well furnished and beds are comfortable. Management company were excellent to respond to all queries and requests.
