I wish we could stay longer!!

All inclusive food quality and options were exceptional The various dining, bar and pool options meant that at any time of day you could get something to eat or drink. They don't skimp on what is included and never once said "no" to any special requests. After doing a couple of clubmed stays over the past few years, and thinking that it couldn't get any better, AX Odycy at St Paul's bay Malta set a new food and beverage standard for me. Great hotel, great staff, great pools with the best view. I highly recommend it. We were a group of 3 families from Australia with 11 people in total.

Since we changed rooms due to necessity the past 2 days we noticed that a few rooms are much better than others of the lower category (quality should be the same, different amenities are absolutely understood). Improvement is definitely required regarding the hospitality offered and the way they handle situations at the front desk. Except Mrs. Tabit who really did her best to assist us, higher standards of hospitality and communication should be the goal for the rest of the team. In general though, a good experience was received.

A very big and nice resort with an exceptional buffet menu as part of the all inclusive package and they really do have a great housekeeping service fulfilling high standards of hospitality. Our room was clean and tidy every day and the people who were taking care of it were always kind and helpful. A big congrats!! The staff working at the restaurant as well as the cooks were always extremely polite. Gym, kids club, different pools and variety of restaurants inside the hotel made the experience superb. We had an amazing experience and we'll definitely recommend it or revisit it if we have the chance to. Could be one of the best resorts in Malta.

Would’ve liked it if staff had explained in a bit more details how to book and access all the the restaurants opposite and the pool.

The only thing we didn't like so much was the food. It was just OK with the exception of breakfast. We tried 3 of the restaurants across the street, and they were a bit disappointing, especially Cheeky Monkey. The food was cold, and some of the sliders were raw. We also went for dinner at the buffet one night, and I think it was a bit too expensive for the quality of food. Another small bit was the hair dryer, it was in a weird location and you can't unplug it so I had to stand in the middle of the room to dry my hair, very small thing of course. Finally, it's listed here as having room service, but it didn't seem to be the case, or at least there was no information or menu for it.

Very nice and modern hotel! Overall, the facilities were great, very nicely decorated lobby, and nice pool areas! Almost all staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Aurelia at reception (apologies if I got your name wrong!) and Bishnu B. Pariyar from the housekeeping staff! The room was amazing. We got very lucky and received an upgrade to a junior suite! I don't know why, but it was an amazing surprise. The view from the room was great, and it was one of the best beds we've ever slept on, really. Super quiet room, even with the busy street downstairs, great AC, and a very helpful directory on the TVs. Even the curtains were amazing, keeping the light out in the morning! It's also very conveniently located in St. Paul's Bay, nice beaches nearby, a lot of restaurants. The breakfast buffet was really good, a lot of choice and very well stocked.

I loved the pools and water slides they had to offer with it being right along the ocean side. Definitely family friendly and would love to bring my family back or others with kids to stay here! Breakfast had a wide range to eat from which is great if you want sweet or savory to eat from.

The room exceeded our expectations! We were visiting Malta for a music festival and we were in a group of 4. The room was spacious, clean, we had a great view and amazing amenities.

The average wait time for the elevators was around 5 minutes, depending on the floor on which you are staying, I suggest taking the stairs as it is much more convenient for getting to breakfast on the reception level and basement. The staff tried to alleviate the traffic by the elevators and help in any ways they could (waiting with us and holding up the elevator which has opened without us noticing) but I believe this is more of a technical issue that has to do with the layout and planning of the elevators rather than the staff.

We really liked the wide array of food options for dinner and breakfast. The staff was very nice and tended to all our needs. The hotel has many options for afternoon activities, we checked out the restaurant Trattoria Riccardo and the bar Cheeky Monkey for afternoon snacks and drinks. The service is great. We enjoyed the option to lounge by either of the three pools and the locations within walking distance of the hotel. We managed to go to the Aquarium by foot and the hotel is pretty near to all the bus stops. Thank you to the hotel staff for making sure our stay was great, especially the food team and the cleaning staff Anil and Govind!

Where do I start...... What an amazing place to stay, went there on my own for 6 nights I felt so safe and very welcome there! The view from my room was amazing 🤩 Hotel fabulous 😍 Foood delicious 🤤 Staff so friendly, especially house keeping Pravin and Anil were so good with the cleaning in my room very friendly and very nice making sure that I was happy with my room if I needed anything or any problems! Had a problem with my fridge in the room it was leaking and it was fixed straight away! Would highly recommend AX ODYCY, for either families solo travel or couples! Looking forward to going back there again! 😍😍

The only thing I could suggest is the balcony to be taken care better.

It was quite expensive and I'm not sure I received the best rate.

Amazing breakfast spread, so much to choose from. Loved the different pool options - the quiet of the adult pool on floor 11 and the vibrancy of the kids area. Kids club was a bonus, the kids asked to go for a few hours each day. Highlight was the waterslide! Best way to keep the kids entertained! Bonus was receiving two adjoining rooms, one for the parents and one for the kids.

Lack of information: Upon checking in, you can scan a code, but I don't keep my phone on me. Couldn't book in one of the speciality restaurants as it was fully booked, nothing else offered or refunded. Very confusing what's included and what isn't, lunch buffet was lacking each day I preferred the baguettes and cakes from the coffee shop. You can eat at restaurants over the road if you're booked in, and one has a huge outdoor area with a large screen to watch football, but you have to pay for your drinks??!! Restaurant by the children's pool drinks are included but not any food. Coffee shops are all included except packaged goods, crisps, chocolates, cans of coke and bottles of water. You may have a plastic cup of coke or water but not the cans?! Again, it's so confusing. Serious lack of entertainment in the evening needs a more upbeat atmosphere. Pace was very slow for us in sidewalk bar, local singer eg.

Adult infinity pools were stunning as are the views across Malta. Room was nice, cool and comfy, staff very good. Italian and Minoa restaurant amazing! Iced coffee was on point as were cakes in coffee shop. Lovely area, bolt easy to use as are buses. Lots of seating areas to relax and choice of pools. Great children's pool.

In the last day we checked out at 4 am in the morning so I asked the staff to make a small package with some food for our sonon our way home but I was refused.

The pools and the slides were great Kids club was amazing for our son,he liked it very much Good food ,at dinner every day was food specifically from different places (Spain,Greece, Nepal,etc) The room was big and clean ,same as bathroom

- Amazing hotel in a Great location (aprox. 25 mns drive from La Valetta & Gozo/Comino ferries). - Quiet place - Far from the noise & parties of St Julian's. - The rooms are great (I slept in both "standard" & "Deluxe" as I got upgraded due to a problem with the noise of the AC in the first one) - there's not much difference between both types of room, if you don't know which one to chose, here are the differences: the decoration (one is white, one is black) & there's less storage for the clothes in the "Deluxe" one... Honestly, apart from that, everything's the same: the bed, the shower, the amenities, the balcony... - Staff is nice and very reactive if you have any request/problem. - The rooftop pools are amazing. I can't speak for the other ones as I didn't use them. - The breakfast is delicious (eggs, ham, turkey, tomates, cucumbers, croissants, cereals, milks, coffee, juices... You name it). - Great restaurants surrounding the hotel - 2 italians, 1 "american", 1 mexican... They're all good.

The pillows were very uncomfortable on the bed and we both ended up with a stiff neck although the bed itself was comfortable
