Nothing at all, it was great for us!

The cozy apartment was on the top level with a wonderful view of the harbor and the sea beyond. The apartment was well equipped, plus the bed was a king size and very comfortable, we loved waking up each morning hearing the birds from the neighbors aviary, we slept with the balcony doors open and always had a nice sea breeze, although it wasn't necessary as the apartment has good air conditioning and good sliding glass doors that keep the sounds of the busy harbor out, if you prefer quiet. Ray is awesome and would do anything to make your stay better, including carrying our very heavy suitcase up the long and narrow stairway to the apartment, about 40 steps! it weighed 28kg. There is public parking in front of the building and spaces were always available. There are a few nice restaurants close by and a small swimming beach. We stayed for 3 nights and would love to stay there again if we return to Gozo.

Great location at the harbour with a lovely balcony for watching all the activity on the water and land. Easy to visit all the attractions on Gozo with buses nearby. We tried a different local restaurant every night. Immaculate modern flat with everything we needed and a helpful owner on-site.

Ray was very helpful, informative, and available since he lives on site. He certainly enhanced our appreciation for his island. We like to cook, the kitchen was well appointed and the grocery store a 10 minute walk. Staying at the harbour was scenic and always interesting, the balcony was constantly in use morning and evening. Victoria, the hub for bus routes was a short bus ride away from most sites and activities, but we found it nice to leave the hustle and bustle behind. Nights were quiet and restful. Many good restaurants within walking distance - all in all a wonderful experience Thanks Ray for an unforgettable holiday!

Ray is the best host ever! From the moment he met my mom and me at the ferry terminal, he showed us nothing but true Gozitan hospitality. The apartment had everything we needed for our week’s stay: a spacious master bedroom with ample closet space, a pull-out sofa bed, everything one needs in the kitchen to cook, and the most amazing view down to the harbor from the balcony off the dining area. Situated only steps from the waterfront and five minutes on foot from the ferry terminal (as well as the bus stop), the apartment is ideally located - especially if you like to watch the constant goings on in the harbor. Thank you, Ray, for being such a gracious host. We look forward to a repeat stay in the future.

The apartment was beautiful, with an incredible view of the harbour! I had arrived shortly after booking and even with my rushed arrival the owners were lovely, even giving me a glass of wine while they got the apartment ready. They made me feel so welcome and I can't express enough how lovely my stay was! I would suggest to anyone to book this apartment!!!

Having to leave!

The awesome owners are very welcoming and ready to help out in every way. The apartment was very clean and amenities provided as described. The balcony overlooks Mgarr harbour thus providing an amazing & beautiful view. Definately its a place to return to. Thanks for a great stay Ray & Rosie.

Not much, except that it was on the top floor with stairs only but I was aware of this when I booked.

The apartment location is great, right on the harbour. It's quite bustling during the day as there are people working on their boats, I personally like that kind of environment but if you need total silence, noise can easily be shut out by keeping the balcony doors closed. Although it's not in the centre of Gozo it's 1 minute away from the Ferry Terminal to Malta and the Gozo Bus Station which has many buses going to several different parts of Gozo. I worked some days there and the Wifi was perfect. The flat itself was clean, quiet and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Ray (the host) and the locals are lovely!

We stayed here in December, so we had the ”opportunity” to experience a Maltese winter. It is worth to mention that they do not have heating, so the only way to heat the place was using the AC. As the room was big enough, the AC hadn’t the necessary power. However, we appreciated the supplementary blankets. Overall, the apartment is a great accommodation and if you’ll visit in spring, summer or autumn I assume there would not be any problems.

The apartment looks exactly like in pictures. It was clean, the kitchen is very well equipped and the space is more than enough for two people. The view is indeed the accommodation’s strong point. Also, the proximity to the ferry and the bus station is another plus.

We had a very nice visit here over the weekend when we did a trail run. The hosts were brilliant throughout and phoned us on the day of check out to let us know there was no rush to check out, as we had been running the day before Apartment has all that you would need. Good kitchen with all facilities, fast WiFi and nice balcony overlooking the harbour. Would go back!
