Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe air conditioning in the room barely functioned and the restaurants and spa were a bit too expensive.
Nice rooms and three lovely pools, particularly the very impressive roof terrace. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and all the staff were friendly.

ItalyA very elegant and charmant hotel located in the northern area of Malta. We have really appreciated the high-quality service, from the always helpful Reception to the room and cleaning service. To be proved are the restaraunts located in the hotel itself; in particular we loved Dal Ponte, whose specialties are really tasteful and at an honest price. Enchanting is also the roof-pool with incredible views at the sunset and reserved only to adults. This gives you the opportunity to enjoy a good cocktail in peace. The location of Maritim Antonine is also useful for those who wish to reach the sandy beaches not far from the structure or to chatch a ferry to Gozo or to enjoy an excursion by boat at very good prices. Last but not least, the breakfast. Fresh ingredients and a huge variety of choice make it worth proving. Excellent quality of food and the courtesy of the staff have made every break in a new day very positive and relaxing.

AustriaThe receptionist, Victoria or Valeria, I don’t quite remember her name, she wasn’t particularly friendly. It almost felt like she didn’t want to be there and like she was annoyed with by my questions!
The hotel is on the main street, where all the buses are running, with the bus station being right across the street. So location wise, the hotel is situated in an area close to many popular beaches, the Red Tower and Popeye Village. (But I wouldn’t recommend public transport in Malta, it’s awful!!!! It’s not reliable and you have to wait 30-40 minutes in the scorching heat for them to come and sometimes they don’t even stop. So instead, rent a car or use Bolt) Our room was of average size, very clean (the kind, hardworking Selini, I hope I remember her name correctly, took great care of our room during our stay there), with a big bathroom and everything else that a tourist might need. The breakfast variety seemed endless, everything tasted great and the stuff was very helpful and friendly!

Spacious rooms, amazing breakfast, so many restaurants nearby, a 5min taxi ride to the beaches (we loved Mellieha bay the best, the right part). A bit torn with the review…. as the value for money was excellent. However, hotel certainly could do with a refurb.
