beds weren't the most comfortable and got a load of what seemed to be insect bites during the nights.

location was good. close to everything in St Paul's. staff very friendly and helpful. we didn't pay much at all so very good value for money. rooms were basic but that's all we needed. pool was fine, food in the pub attached was good. air-conditioning worked very well.

Really good location with good transport links. Staff couldn’t be more helpful or accommodating whenever we needed anything. A great base for if you want to travel around Malta, but also pleasant enough to stay by the pool and relax.

the lack of a bar with a buffet where you can have breakfast but it ain't mainly.

the wide disponibility of the staff letting us stay in the hall while waiting to check in to let us crush a bit on the couch after a night travel, I really appreciated it.

Cockroaches on each floor and especially reception area , shower is too small for a big person . They should consider opening for Bkfast even if we had to pay for this like before I stayed there before and the buffet when it was buffet breakfast it was good

I like that at the reception everyone helped us straight away . The problem about Dan in the room was settled immediately

- Room we were in was a bit outdated which made it feel less clean - however, we paid a low price for this hotel and definitely got value for money - We had cockroaches in our room one night- I don’t think this is a problem with our room or the hotel, everywhere on the paths in St. Paul’s bay had cockroaches at night so I think its unavoidable

- pool was great, always someone cleaning and maintaining the area (there’s a lot of construction in Malta currently making it dusty when it’s windy, but it’s clear the staff are doing their best to avoid dusty. - always sun loungers available - every staff member was so lovely - Aircon and fan in room worked very well and definitely a necessity in the July heat - location was good, very close walk to the main strip of restaurants and shops, but also cheap reliable taxis available on bolt to Valletta (€20), the airport (€22) and to Rivera beach (€21 return) for a group of 3. - I saw a lot of dramatic reviews, I was nervous to stay here but had a great holiday, if you don’t need anything too fancy and want a pool this is the perfect hotel.

Very bad sound isolation. You can hear everything what happens on the floor.

Very welcome staff. The convertor from EU to UK style sockets was provided from desk. Nice personnel at the hotels pub. Room was clean, but pay attention on the sliding windows, they sometimes stay opened, even if you think they are closed.

Need improvements urgently! Looks like abandoned at somehow, the air con didn’t work, the hair dry didn’t work, the tv didn’t work… the rooms are very old, which needs to redecorate for sure and get the things fixed, but for us, we just used to shower and sleep, so it’s was ok but not the best. The bay near by doesn’t have sand to stay and enjoy the day, you need to go to another places. I rented a car, the hotel doesn’t have parking and it was very hard to park around even in a low season.

Amazing staff, the only thing which worth it and have an Irish pub/ restaurant on the ground floor, very nice food, pool table and amazing staff. The location is ok, close to the bay (is not a beach though) have restaurants near by, convenience stores.

No kettle in the room, british people like tea and coffee, no facility at all for this. No duvet, just horrible throw over blankets Bathroom door in awkward position, bigger people have to walk in at an angle.

The young lady in reception was amazing, really helpful, and always had a smile on her face. Apologies, her name escapes me. Room was spaces and comfortable. Easy access around the hotel

The cockroach in the bathroom! However cockroaches are a fact of life and myself and the night man dealt with it. It was funny rather than sending me screeching. I could have done with the bathroom door closing properly which it didn’t then I could have closed the door on the cockroach and dealt with it in the morning instead of at 3am.

It was laid back. If you are picky then it’s not for you, but despite it needing attention to detail I liked the casualness of the hotel. The pool and surroundings were very very good. I would stay there again even with its shortcomings.

It was noisy: I heard all the noise from the corridor and room above. The hotel is in a neighborhood which is not particularly pleasant.

I enjoyed the pool, the outstanding staff who provided plenty of advice and the large bedroom. I’m glad the hotel was not crowded.
