The hotel staff were very polite. In fact, a woman working there even mentioned that she was the owner’s wife. She came to our room and spent about 20 minutes hosting us, explaining everything with a smile. We were very pleased with her and impressed by her efforts; they were incredibly helpful people. The interior design of the room, the view, and the hotel staff were all exceptional and kind-hearted. I highly recommend it. It also was a very clean hotel.

Owner lady and gentleman are so friendly. Room was decorated elegantly. They even secured a safe parking space for us in this old town area. I will not search for a new flat for my next Ohrid trip. Just go there and enjoy perfect lake view.

Everything was perfect.

The apartment deserves a detailed description: 1. Facilities: it has all the necessary facilities for those renting for several days (detached, kitchen with all necessary equipment, clean bathroom with external ventilation, terrace with comfortable deckchairs and even binoculars), free parking; 2. Appearance: beautifully decorated, attention to details, elegant furniture, comfortable beds; 3. Hosts: kind, welcoming (on arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of organic wine (exceptional) and watermelon), bouncy (help to find the location); 4. Location: first of all, we had a superb panoramic view from the balcony over the old town, the port, Lake Ohrid and the mountains; also very close to the commercial artery, the Turkish bazaar and the other tourist objects inside Samuil's citadel;

Located in the old city, marrow roads, If you are athletic and can walk, it is a place to stay so you don't have to do an early morning run. Walk down hill and walk uphill, you will loose quite a lot of energy.

There was no AC unit but we didn’t really need one because outside felt pretty good. But bring headphones/sound machine because the city has loud music playing until 2 AM. That’s always the reality in staying close to the downtown of a beach town though. There was also stairs to climb and then a spiral staircase for those who need to know about access.

The owner was incredibly helpful and kind. The beds were comfortable and the space was clean. But the best part was the view! Not sure you get a better one in all of Ohrid :)

Ohrid Lakeview was awesome. Hospitality of Owners help to feel the place like home. They answers all of our questions and adviced really good places to go. It was clean and comfortable. Location is excelent. Touristic destinations are close to Lakeview Apartments Ohrid. They let us leave our luggage until our bus time and drive to bus station. We are really greatfull for everything. We enjoyed a lot. We would love to come to stay again 💐

This is not a dislike - but it was difficult to find due to lack of signs. A small sign on the building on the front would be very helpful.

Having travelled for 5 weeks in the Balkans and stayed in some excellent places, Lakeview is probably my favourite, for various reasons. I booked it for the view, and it was simply outstanding - exactly as shown on the pictures, and I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony having breakfast and in the evening before sleep. So relaxing to have a view over both Ohrid and good part of the lake itself. The apartment is rather small but was perfect for me on my own, the bed large and comfortable and shower good. Very tastefully decorated with all amenities I could possibly need. The owners are very nice and I was welcomed with a bottle of homemade red wine (delicious). This was my 2nd visit to Ohrid, and I really love it there - so I will definitely book Lakeview for my next visit next year. Tip: Instead of going out for breakfast, buy items from the supermarket, so you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet on the balcony with a view to die for.

Can be a little tricky to find by car and you need to drive through the old town, but it’s doable.

Only suggestion to provide some check in notes before arrival. And perhaps notes that you should drive up and through the city gates. Google maps took us the wrong way.

Best place to stay in Ohrid. Amazing view, beautiful, cozy and clean apartment, private parking. Hosts were very lovely and gave us a house bottle of wine which was delicious.

Perfect location in the old town with amazing view of the lake! The appartment was clean with authentic decor, quiet and with very comfortable bed. The hosts Mitko and Tatjana are very friendly and welcoming. They were very responsive and helpful regarding my parking request. I stayed only one night but I would deffinitely want to come back for longer. If you want to experience the spirit of the city, this is the place to be. All the attractions and restaurants/bars are within few minutes walk. Highly recommended!
