Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Arab EmiratesThe breakfast was poor. Low quality and lack of choice or variety. Even when you went early to breakfast the staff didn't replenish the food.
The location was ideal. A short walk to the old town and restaurants and the rooms were large, modern and a comfortable bed.

United KingdomLanding at Podgorica international airport, reminded me of Bournemouth airport 15 years ago, Passengers queueing outside as we disembarked, on the apron edge for a quick turnaround, to board our just landed Wizz flight to return to LGW. With farm tractors towing baggage trolleys and motorised wheeled stairs for leaving the plane. Our meet and greet car hire man was there to show us to or prearranged vehicle, Now here is the first obstacle. Due to my age just about all franchise/well advertised known car hire companies do not hire to over 75s So I had to find a ‘local’ company that did not specify an age or as bonus did not require a deposit, no card cash only. On inspection of the car, as they do, marking on their report sheet all body marks and scrapes. Well as I pointed out that he had already included excess damage insurance in his invoice 15E, very reasonable, and the car was I guess 15 years old with hardly a panel without any marks, he agreed and stopped form filling. Instructions, head lights must be on all the time driving. DON'T forget to turn them off. Two keys one had the remote locking the other was for staring the engine. So new we are all set to drive to Budva in our 15 year old 1150000 K Hyundai Accent 3 speed auto all for 173 Euros for seven days. I had a paper road map aid navigation couldn't get too lost could we after all there only 4 or 5 Red A class roads in the country. Very mountainous country landscape Moon like. It was obvious our not too powerful car would spend a fair amount of time in 2nd gear going up the hills. Over the finale mountain range rain set in. Budva, one main road thorough crammed with traffic all over town, parked up, now it was Monsoon rain. Got our back packs as parking was a serous issue and I know the hotel only had a few spaces, we left the car walking we soaked. To find Hotel Pima, no signal on phone. Didn't know then, that I had to change the APN there were direction signs for hotels just no ours.
Cant give it 5 stars. **** What a great new B&B hotel staff very very helpful and friendly. Good range of items to pick for the buffet breakfast. Lovely pool and seating area outside the breakfast room. Free parking out the front and a under ground garage. Although listing a restaurant its a bit ambiguous as it dose not have a restaurant rather than a breakfast room, and there is a bar but they do not serve from it. Towels changed every day may be a little over the top for today's environment, but a great hotel well positioned for the beach and old town. Budva good holiday place lots of restaurants bars, beach quite narrow and filled up we sun beds 15e for two. Old town nice to visit. Best beach Long Beach past Ulicinj. Kotor of course is the main attraction and is well worth a visit though the traffic is pretty horrendous. Basic meals in Montenegro, Pasta Pizza Burgers and bears are cheap but when you get to fish & meat I though it was over priced and a medium glass of white wine in Budva old town 8.4 euros. No vegetables apart from boiled potatoes and spinach even from the posh restaurants, and limp chips with everything.

United KingdomWe don't have any negatives about our stay or the hotel- we just wish we could have stayed longer!
The staff here are exceptional, they are by far the most helpful, friendliest and kind hotel staff we have ever come across. Ogi and Peter made our first visit to Budva unforgettable, booking local restaurants, taxis and even upgrading us to the biggest suite as a gift! They went above and beyond to make our stay 5 stars and we definitely will be returning. The pool and terrace area is lovely and super clean, which goes without saying for the rest of the hotel. The hotel is a short distance from the beach front and old town as described, and the little shop across the road is very convenient. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Budva.

The hotel is located in a modern building with a separate private entrance and lovely swimming pool inside the yard. Very pleasant staff on reception, the guys were always helpful and welcoming. Guests feel comfortable and relaxed due to the special atmosphere they provide. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of dishes. Coffee machine is available for free on the reception. Room service is excellent. Our room with a huge balcony had a picturesque view on the swimming pool and mountains. It was always quiet and cozy there.
