I was there the weekend of a huge Russian wedding. Lots of preparation and distraction plus one restaurant was closed on the Saturday night.

My room at this property was pure luxe perfection - the largest basic room I’ve ever stayed in with bay views, terrace, soaking tub, fireplace, complete bar area, the most comfortable bed. Plus the gym and spa were out of this world. Loved the Asian fusion restaurant too! And all three different pool areas.

Be aware of Portonovi rooms are facing a parking area and the main hotel entrance which can be very uncomfortable at times. I would recommend to book at least a Bay view room.

It’s a very beautiful property in a great location of Portonovi. The rooms and hotel facilities are brand new, the beach is sandy, F&B options are fantastic. The service is great. A must see in Montenegro.

Sandy beach could be cleaned in a better way…we found a lot of cigarettes butt around our sun beds. Water pressure of the sandy beach shower is very poor…

There are a lot of families with children and there are no adult only areas of the beach or pools. The hotel restaurants are full of families till very late and therefore it is not relaxing particularly Sabia the Italian restaurant.

The rooms are beautiful, the new port area is very new and up and coming. The beach club tapasake is fab and the best food.

I loved the hotel. Staff were extremely careful of my needs and ready for me whenever I need help. Golf cart can take you to anywhere close by. The private beach and pools are luxurious, so as the Turkish SPA which was superb.

1) a rather inconsistent service provided by the hotel staff, often lacking finesse and not providing guests with a complete peace of mind (eg we were not even offered a glass of water upon arrival let alone the customary welcome drink), the staff seemed to be puzzled even by such a simple task as arranging transportation to the nearby town or by a question about the bar’s opening hours; 2) poor value for money when it came to sightseeing (there wasn’t even a printed out brochure detailing the experiences or a professional English speaking guide)

The Food offering is truly expensive (NYC price tags) and not well thought through. There are three restaurants with a rather small menue that does not change during lunch and dinner. So not suitable for a longer stay.

It is very luxurious, just as you expect it from a hotel of the one&only group. The stuff tries almost everything to make you happy, but they sometimes it feels chaotic.
