There is one problem of which we cannot say how serious it is in general: Getting a parking lot for your car. The owners told us that we should park for free in the port area but this is not so easy to find. Precise instructions how to get there on booking.com definitely would have been helpful. The owners told us that it would be no problem to get a parking lot in the evening (but you have to go there timely since the road will be closed at 7:00 or 8:00 pm (I forgot the exact time)). In fact, we found a parking lot, but this was one of the last ones we could get. I cannot say whether our difficulties were an exception or are the rule. The owners said, you always find a parking lot in the evening in the port area. Be also aware that you have to carry all your luggage from the port, down at sea level (if you managed to get a parking lot there) up to the old town and within the old town a few hundred meters to Antigona. However, the location is worth this effort, we think. Our recommendation: Once you have found a parking lot in the port area, leave it there for your complete stay. Getting a parking lot elsewhere is very difficult (roads are narrow) and expensive. Everything what is of touristic interest in Ulcinj can be reached comfortably by foot from the accommodation.

A fantastic location. From the window of the room and even better from the terrace besides the room you have a greet view over the sea. Maybe 5 meters below the terrace of the room (to be shared with the guests of the only other room) is the terrace of the Antigona restaurant. While the restaurant guests definitely pay not only for their meal but also for the spectacular location, you have it already paid with your room. Sitting for hours in the evening on the terrace with a bottle of wine and looking over the sea is real holiday. The room itself is simple, just a bed and a bath room (no TV but reasonably good WiFi), good shower, clean. Reliably working air condition, which is absolutely necessary in summer. Even though not paid for, the hosts allowed us to use the fridge and the equipment of the little kitchenette outside of our room. The owners are lovely. Very good value for money. If staying in Ulcinj we would try to stay there again, definitely. The accomodation is located in the old town (a pedestrian area), you can't stay at a more scenic neighborhood in Ulcinj.

Every time we wanted to go to the beach or to get back to the apartments, we had to use high city stairs. As we were traveling with the kids, taking all the stuff to the beach was a little bit difficult

In the heart of the old town. No possibility to park a car at the house, so we had to take and carry our luggage up the high stairs and through the old town. The view was fantastic but not from our terrace but from the hostess terrace which we could use whenever we wanted (when booking our room, I though that the sea view will be from my terrace as I could make the impression from the given pictures).
