Perfect location, everything about the stay was brilliant

There was not much to dislike about this hotel. Everything was perfect, including the location, staff, and overall cleanliness of the hotel. We simply wish we had more time to spend there.

What was there not to like about this hotel and location?! The location was absolutely stunning, with this hotel being nestled between the pristine waters of the sea and the mountains in the background. Furthermore, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. While my husband and I initially had a smaller room on the backside of the hotel, they were gracious enough to give us an upgraded room with a complimentary bottle of wine. All of the pools and various restaurants were great, and the breakfast was definitely one of the better ones I've been to while staying at various hotels. The price was perfect (better than expected honestly for these accommodations!). We would definitely stay there again!

I think it's impossible not to like something in this hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the extra service charge for everything. Renting a canoe costs 35 euros but the paper you sign is 38,5 euros. Even though the amounts are not big, I don't think it is necessary.

I think it is a nice hotel for those who really want to relax. The staff is extremely caring and friendly. There is no parking problem. For transportation to the hotel, you enter the typical kotor road and it is a bit narrow. There is a market next to it, which is very nice. You can reach everything in and around the hotel. Please be informed that it is not walkable because it will be far from the center of Kotor.

Too Poor breakfast for 5*, not enough coffee mashin in the breakfast bar, Entrance to the lobby is not accessible for wheels, it will be nice free drink water in the pool and no cucumber water in the lobby:)

Our king size room was near the Generator. We had an electrcity problem and all day we listened generator noise. We could not use the balcony.

We are very happy that we chose to stay in Hyatt Regency Kotor Bay Resort. Everything was nice and peaceful in the hotel. We especially loved the beach area. From the first entrance till the last exit all personnel were very friendly. Special thanks to Boran Bilge who helped us a lot during our stay.

It’s a little tricky to get to - expect traffic. Road only fits one car so expect traffic jams and delays as you’re often waiting for large vans and buses to somehow get through. Not the hotel’s fault, just something to bear in mind

We had an issue with our room which was resolved but meant us changing room. The problem could have been sorted out quicker than it was, there was a lot of our time wasted waiting around to get this sorted which in the end the hotel manager dealt with himself.

We loved the hotels beach and the loungers just on the waters edge, the views are just stunning. The quality of food was of a very high standard both at breakfast and dinner. Milan in the lighthouse restaurant went the extra mile and made sure we had a lovely dining experience. This hotel deserves their 5 stars. The quality of everything is top notch.

Coffee quality at breakfast was poor. Mattress was overly soft, without the ability to be changed - typically Hyatts will do that for you. The gym was lacking in basic space/equipment. Room had low shamefully low quality finishes.

Head waiters at the lighthouse restaurant - Milan and Igor truly made our stay. They went above and beyond every single day to make sure we had curated food and wine experiences. World class. AC system on the second floor of our villa was a rare combination of quiet and performant.

Very minor but the only criticism I have - there wasn't any communication about what times restaurants, spa etc opened and closed (without having to go directly to the restaurant/spa to ask) - a notice board in reception or signage would help. We also couldn't find a direct route from the hotel to the outdoor pool/Bliss rooftop without having to exit the hotel, walk through the car park and up to the rooftop but not a big issue.

This is a superb hotel - stunning location on Kotor Bay with amazing views from everywhere in the hotel. Room was great, spacious and spotlessly clean. Hotel was busy but never felt packed, plenty of sun loungers and space for guests with different areas around the hotel - beach, water edge (both chilled locations), hotel outdoor pool and Bliss rooftop (more of an atmosphere with music, day beds etc). Indoor pool / Spa area is also amazing - unbelievable views, opens early and closes late so can go in the evening too! Food is amazing at hotel - great choice for breakfast, also ate lunches at Ole Beach Bar and Bliss Pool Bar. A fine dining restaurant also on site but we didn't try. Really helpful, pleasant, attentive staff who are always on hand to help and advise, even park your car for you!

The spa opened at 10am so we couldn’t enjoy it early morning or before going out.

The communication and response from various staff before we arrived was very professional , so I was really looking forward to the stay. The hotel helped me organise a surprise for my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary, and they did not disappoint. Throughout our stay the staff were all so welcoming, chatting and cheerful to us, in particular a lady called Hale, and a very tall young man who greeted us and called taxis’s for us several times. The deluxe room (although we had the pool bar blocking our view) was clean, beautiful and spacious with a nice terrace. As a suggestion, the hotel should consider having a complementary shuttle bus in to Kotor in the low season , as the local buses are not frequent. Would definitely recommend this Hotel

Beautiful hotel in a nice location in Kotor bay. The breakfast buffet was very good and the rooms nice and super clean. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Even though it wasn’t a sandy beach it is set up so pretty with the private promenade facing the fjord. Overall a very nice experience.
