Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesSome stuff was rude. Only one room key, and they ask you to leave on the front desk when you leave apartment, even when we refused to leave the key, and tell them we don't want stuff in the room, they still send somebody to change the towels and do some inspection how they said. CRAZY

Affordable, located near the bus station. 800m to the beach and old town, that's 15-20 min walk, but city isn't super pedestrian-friendly and there are a lot of cars everywhere.

United KingdomThere were not enough pots to cook, only one was provided and burnt even water. No cereal bowls were provided only plates and cutlery. Flooring was very slippery. Not conducive for children.
We were facing the mountains, and it was a beautiful view. The apartment was clean. Towels were provided, and in the mini kitchen, you only got one pot to cook, one frying pan, two pasta strainers, plates, and cutlery. Staff are nice and they could communicate in English.

LatviaModern appartment but kitchen is poorly equiped with crockery and cutlery, no washing up liquid or sponge, even though that every day rooms are cleaned up including washing up plates it is still more practical to have those essentials handy. Another issues is water going everywhere when you take shower. Glass walls dobt stop water from flowing around the floor in the bathroom
Beds are comfortable enough. Large balcony with ok view. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet

SerbiaCleaning service could be better. There was dust on high shelves. We found ex-guests belongings under the bed that means cleaning service don't do their work properly. Our windows looked on the noisy road. Some of the parking places stays near the restaurant.
The place has 24 hours reception. It has pretty fresh comfortable furniture. Private parking is good option for whom traveled by car.

GreeceThe extra charge for the parking (despite the very good price for the room). We had to pay 10 euros for our spot. Also, the electrical outlet in our room was taken out (probably because of the mobile chargers).
The view from the sixth floor was beautiful. The room was spacious and the bathroom in a very good condition. The staff was very polite (despite their seemingly young age) and helpful. Value for money...

TurkeyMaybe some kitchen equipment such as pan, and knives would be nice to have in the apartments but it is not a must for the travelers obviously. That's just my will.
The location was perfect, and people working in the were quite nice and helpful. I was very easy to communicate. I highly recommend this place for accommodation to people who would like to come and visit Budva, Montenegro.

TurkeyEven though how great the Adriatik Lux Apartments is, the location was a big problem for us. Unfortunately, it takes 20-25 minutes walk to the Old Town. If you don't mind the walking distance, don't hesitate to go to Adriatik Lux Apartments.
The room was smart and technologic. And the design was so modern. It was also clean. The terrace was so wide and is excellent for sitting and hanging out with friends. Everything about the room was excellent.

United KingdomIt's a bit of a walk maybe 15 minutes to the old town area for bars and restaurants but worth the effort
Large modern air conditioned room with good facilities including fridge and kettle. Nice balcony with comfortable chairs and table to enjoy a cold drink on an evening. Conveniently situated near the main bus station making for an easy arrival and departure for our three night stay. A good local craft beer bar called Bura and excellent Taste of Asia restaurant just across the road made for an enjoyable evening.

UkraineThe shower curtain does not really hold the water in, so after each shower the bathroom floor was wet, if you weren't careful. There was a small fridge, but we couldn't use the freezer in it, as it was so full of ice that even a small ice tray wouldn't fit in it (it wasn't defrosted for ages). transfer from the airport was 35 eur, but to the airport we were charged 40. These are some minor issues, overall we enjoyed our stay.
Nice hotel for its price, spacious room, small kitchen that has everything you need. There's a supermarket in the next building and a good coffee place nearby. There's transfer from the airport to the hotel. The nearest beach is within 15-20 minute walk.

LithuaniaStaff was very friendly, spoke good english. Hotel is located around 15min downhill to old town. Some cafes nearby, all mornings we ate breakfast in cafe called Brera, close and good value, i would recommend. If you have a car, and want a free parking it could be tricky to find a place around building as most places are for residents. We left a car at parking place a little down the road for 5 euros per night. Hotel does have some spots but need to reserve in advance, we didn't do that so there was no spot for us. Bus station very close, fire station is next to the building but only one night we heard them going out, so relatively quiet for Budva. Overall you have to understand that Budva is not a quiet city, a lot of cars, a lot of people, it's party city. One night we had neighbors partying, but they got shut down pretty fast. Now about room. We asked for double bed, but we got two single beds put together so there was a split in the middle, but from my understanding they just didn't have other option, so it's all good, didn't care. We lived in 3rd floor and windows to fire station, as I mentioned, one night heard firetrucks, but besides that, very quiet, very good, because other side is right to the street with pretty heavy traffic. Beds were alright, nothing special. Kitchen was equiped with some tool, but we didn't used them. Bathroom was clean, shower was working good, but at around 10am, we never had hot water. And sometimes there was some kind of weird smell, but overall nothing to go and complain. Towels were changed every day. Last morning, the one morning we didn't locked the door, room made came in while we were still in bed. It was weird because there is a light above the room which shows if we are in the room, maybe she had a hard night. Overall good experience, good value for the amount of money we paid. It is not 5 star hotel, but it is not a run down airbnb.
