the usual banging doors i had to call housekeeping as stains on pillow case and hairs on the bathroom floor asked for milk but it didnt arrive

fantastic location 10 mins walk from Monaco train station big hotel with stylisth design and numerous places to eat including Nobu Nikki's roof top bar very stylish but aperols at 25 euros each were expensive very comfortable garden view room and great toiletries

There is a construction side right beside the hotel. Also there is a renovation of the hotel top floor restauration (closed now) in progress - it is quite noisy The consierge help is a joke

Very old and in need of refurbishment Corridors are full of technicians almost all day The lobby area is full of random people and no privacy feeling The staff are slow at breakfast breakfast is poor for a 5 star hotel It’s very noisy place in general Dinner area is full of random women imposing themselves which makes the experience very cheap and uncomfortable compared to other hotels in Monte Carlo

Could do with more free sunbeds at Nikki Beach - there were plenty empty which you had to pay for!

Our sea side room had a small slice of Castle Hill and the marina to view, but there was also a huge rainbow colored decorative piece of art to look at right below, so we were not right on the water as I had imagined. Breakfast was very very expensive, but everything in Monaco was!

This was a fantastic property to end our French Riviera vacation at! Very centrally located...literally right behind the casino! The beds were soooo comfortable and the service was impeccable. We felt very taken care of! The concierge even got us a reservation at a restaurant (La Mome) that I had been trying to get into for weeks. Granted we did not stay during high season, but it was very appreciated. It was about a 20-25 minute walk to the Monte Carlo Country Club (if you are going to the Masters tennis tournament). We were also upgraded to two queen beds at no extra charge, so that was appreciated so our younger son did not have to sleep on a rollaway.

There were a lot of building works going on so it was incredibly noisy at times. There was also a very loud wedding one night, which made it hard to sleep! It would have been nice to have some warning of both either prior to or on arrival.

There were very limited food and drink options due to refurbishment - only the onsite bar was serving food which is a shame as we were looking forward to the restaurants and hadnt known in advance these would be shut. Drinks were very expensive, even for a soft drink - 15Euro!!!

Construction noise going on during the day from within the hotel. Water was dropping in the common area on our floor! Buckets were placed there for days to catch the water!!!
