Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandDidier and Bernadette were very friendly and attentive hosts. The garden and pool areas are very tranquil and the hammam is lovely. The villa has interesting and very tasteful Africa-themed decor. Villa Daba is an oasis of peace and tranquility and we left feeling rested and restored.

Nice cooperative KAPCIM nearby (few minutes walk) for nice souvenirs and a nice restaurant. Note: no airconditioning as it is not necessary because the temperature is very nice during evening/night

United StatesNow let’s talk about what happened to me . Villa Dabba was a last minute reservation so we booked it and drove to find it. Once we arrived we buzzed the main door and a French lady “Catherine “ spoke to us and greeted us. The first thing we noticed was bunch of dog and I don’t have a problem with dogs but my youngest daughter was bit by a chuaoua in the past and has sort of ptsd so I asked Catherine if the dogs were nice and to my surprise she was sarcastic and told me that they eat humans and followed it by not they are nice. Usually sarcasm is for people that you know well. Furthermore, she added that the reservation was only for 4 people I told her that I reserved it for 2 adults and 3 kids and I even showed her my reservation on booking.com she kept insisting that the reservation was for 4 and added that no big deal as if she was doing me a favor. The shocking thing was the fact she told me that I had to pay in cash . I was a bit surprised because I didn’t have enough cash and this important details was not mentioned in my reservation and offered to showed her but refused and stated that everyone knows that they need to pay in cash and if I was not ok with it I can find a different place and told me that she checked with the owner and he told her that it’s mentioned in booking that only cash is accepted . I offer to send her money via remitly app but told me that I can send myself cash . I told her that I just got here and it was Saturday and it was a real inconvenience for me. Her answer was either send it to myself or wire money to an account in France. Anyway we went looking for a cash office instead enjoying ourselves. Later on I found out that Catherine was just hotel sitting for the owners . I asked her please add this comment to booking to avoid any future confusion I was told again well everyone knows that they should pay in cash.
The villa is located 8 km from essouira, very quiet and secluded location. It’s well maintained and the room were beautifully decorated. It looks like the owners spent some quality time to think about the small details. Breakfast was good missing eggs but no biggie, the pool was nice and we had our private terrace which was a big plus. Simo hammad was very professional and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. He deserves all the props. He suggested great places to visit outside the city and made sure we didn’t need anything else. Thanks simo hammad

Everything was great, location, owners, swimming pool, breakfast ... If you want to recharge your batteries, relax in peace, this is the Best place to stay. We have been in Marroco 11days, slept in 6 different comodities, and this is far the Best!!
