the greens, the lights and thoughtful details, enjoyed a lot doing my morning yoga just outside room, with fresh smell of trees and whispers of birds. thought the pool was small but once in it, loved it.

The breakfast was from 8.30, maybe I would have liked it more if the breakfast was available from an earlier.

The riad was beautiful and the stuff was very kind. Our room was big and very nice.

I didn't expect that. Simply amazing!!!! Exceptional Staff, nice breakfast, a beautiful and cleaned room and an amazing interior design. I highly recommend this Riad. It’s about 20minuts walk from the Road to the famous Jamaal el Fnc. They also offers Hamman and Spa with massages and beauty treatments. Thank you guys for the amazing hosting

The area around the riad is home to locals. A bit more on the outskirts of Medina. It didn’t always feel safe walking the alleyways back to the road- especially at night- but for the most part a member of staff guided you to your taxi etc. This wasn’t always the case though. Communication about timings of taxis, activity bookings etc. was confusing.

Inside the Riad is absolutely stunning. A little heaven in a box. The staff are accommodating and friendly, but it is difficult to communicate if you only speak English. Breakfast, tea, coffee, were all delicious and the staff in the kitchen were always lovely.

I think because it’s a little further away from Jemma El Fna we were approached by local lads who thought we were lost or needed to take us to the Riad which got a little annoying and felt less safe. One tried to follow us into Riad Roxanne and our nightman helpfully managed to get him to leave. I’m sure this happens across the town but because it’s a little further out, it does make you look over your shoulder more.

Riad Roxanne is as delightful and charming as the pictures seen on the website. The dipping pool is clean and refreshing and the roof terrace lovely for some quiet time in the sun. All of the staff are friendly and customer focussed - we were sad to leave and would definitely stay again.

It could do with an overall, our showers cold water tap did not work very good causing poor water pressure.. I think pillows and cushions want replacing throughout the Riad because some where very tatty or torn..the sunbeds and drapes could do with a deep clean and some of the outside lights are not fixed to the wall properly... Our glass door to our bedroom did not close properly, it wasn't an issue but does need fixing.

Beautiful Riad, very peaceful and tranquil inside..bedrooms very spacious...breakfasts basic but tasty. Staff very helpful and always polite. This could be a real hidden gem just a few minor issues...

If you’ve never been deep in a medina before, it can be daunting. Also during the breakfast they didn’t provide a fresh orange juice which was an ordinary practice at the other hotels.

I would say that this was the best place we’ve stayed at during our trip. Lovely staff who were extremely helpful. The pool is certainly welcome after a day of Moroccan heat. The room was nice and the overall mood is very relaxed. The riad is located quite deep inside the medina, which can be a pain to navigate, but there are a couple of signs indicating where the riad is. It's roughly a 20-30 minute walk from all the main attractions. Also it was very quiet within the riad without any street noises.

None at all. It was beyond perfect.

It was the perfect experience. The lush greenery, pool with a beautiful view, delicious teas and of course, the cats. Very friendly and greatly helpful hosts and staff, they arranged and offered amazing tour plans and they were immensely kind. They took extra miles to make sure that we were safe and happy throughout the trip. The location is quite convenient as well, it's pretty close to the centre. The staff also made sure that we had the directions, they even kindly walked us out to the main area and made sure that we weren't lost :) Many thanks to the host and staff, all of them are doing a brilliant job.

The toilet in our room had no doors... There are just some moments you don't want to share with your spouse 😅 There were a lot of cats (not a problem for me cause I love cats, but if you don't like them or you are allergic you might have a problem. There was even one cat who figured out how to open our locked doors and came inside at night 😂). Sometimes you couldn't regulate the water temperature so it was either too hot or too cold. The sink in our bathroom was leaking. But all in all those things were just minor inconveniences and I still think Riad Roxanne is a 10 out of 10!

The Riad was just absolutely beautiful. It had a lovely roof terrace from where you could look above the medina. The staff was amazing and helped us out with whatever needs we had. It was easy to reach the medina. The Riad was quiet. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

2 things that I would want the Riad to improve: Given the price of this Riad is close to most luxury ones, the Riad is not close to the main square and other places. It is a good 25min walk from everything and though they say it is only 10mins it is not 10mins; its a good 20-25 mins. Also, for the price I would expect toiletries in the room. It would also be good if they served breakfast on the sun terrace like most other Riads.

I have to mention that the staff is extremely helpful and very kind. The Riad is clean, very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. I would recommend this Riad for anyone wanting to live away from the main square. The breakfast options are good and the spread is all you can eat.

That we didn’t stay longer.

Everything, the pictures didn’t do the place justice and the staff were amazing ! Every single one of them especially Ali. We had some requests which were all met above and beyond. I could recommended this place anymore. We wanted a hammam and massage which were available in the Riad, fantastic. Transport and other activities were also organised by the staff upon our requests. Definitely will be coming back.
