Wifi was a little bit slow.

This is the Riad we were looking forward the most on our trip. And we weren't disappointed. Heartily welcomed by Siham we first were given a tea and had time to admit the wonderful decoration of the lobby. Our room was beautiful and large with a very comfortable bed. We stayed in the 3rd floor. But don't worry - there is even an elevator. Parking just next to the door. 20 DRH per night. Overall - highly recommended. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

Riad Mazar was a quiet and beautiful retreat from the lively hustle and bustle of the old Medina in Fez.

    Nothing.

The staff were superb, with attentive and friendly service on all subjects that arose. Good advice on restaurants and tour guides. The building is gorgeous, in both the public spaces and our individual room. Breakfast was prepared well but just too generously! Location is terrific, in a part of the old Medina where it’s actually possible to park a car, and only about a five minute walk from the Blue Gate and the main “street” through the Medina.

The rooms were slightly small, we couldn't open our luggages in the room..

I like that cosy vibe in the raid, staff was friendly and adhered to all our requests.

location, we parked right at the door of the riad. when you arrive in the evening it makes a big difference. amazingly decorated, Fes traditional house at its finest. Siham made us feel home. the rooms were out of an oriental fairy tale ☺️. breakfast was lovely with the best Harcha I ever had and I am Moroccan. Even my very critical mum thought the same 😉.

They facilitated organizing a walking tour for us, excellent but be warned this is a walking tour where they take you around to shops were they make a commission from you (scarfs, carpet, stitching, leather tannery, and wood working). I personally would have preferred a tour not focused on that, my recommendation is find your own tour. I wish this was more transparent when they explained to us. I wish it had a pool to cool off in during the hot days.

The Riad is beautiful. Beautiful tile work and detailed plaster. You are on top of the medina so you descend down and down as you go further into the medina, so location is great. Rooms were clean, shower and bathroom nice, and the staff were welcoming.

Amazing décor, situated in a quiet neighborhood. The room is spacious, tastefully decorated and the bed is very comfortable. The owner and staff are welcoming, taking good care of their guests. A place to come back to.

Everything was good. Maybe only the problem of all riads - you can hear your neighbours and they you and what is going on in the hall. But I still recommend to stay in riad.

Good location, good breakfast, very clean and comfortable room, very beautiful hall and decoration in the riad. Great service - always ready to help you with every question: book an excursion, give advice where to eat, where to find a taxi and what should be the price, have an early breakfast, what to see, how to find smth (even go with you and show for example where is the cafe if you have difficulties with orientation in the Medina). Also special thank for upgrading my room without additional payment - I was so confused, because I mixed the room I booked with another riad (long trip)

    No negative

Everything, we had a very bad experience at another Riad Sidrat in the city. And we booked this riad and within minutes they were contacting us and helping us get to they Riad. The staff here was excellent. They told us that the room we booked was not available at the time of checking, but the next day it would be. They moved all our things to a much larger room. Things happens, but it depends on how people handle problems. Being up front and honest is the best thing to do. That other Riat Sidrat was not. From the front desk , to the cook, to the man who handle everything else excellent. We had breakfast every morning, and when they found out my wife was also lactose tolerance. They brought food for her

There is nothing not to like: a beautiful building, great service, easy access to guides and drivers. We’ll be back!

Siham and her staff are a wonderful combination of hospitality and friendship. They made us feel so comfortable and at home during the four nights we stayed at Riad Mazar. We were only sorry to have to leave. Wonderful breakfasts, comfortable rooms and beds, it’s no wonder that they’re so highly rated.
