Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomEverything was as described.
The hospitality (Saba, Lachan, Rabia) were very welcoming and supported with all our needs. The decor was very beautiful in both rooms we booked. Air conditioned and very clean. Food available to book at property. Close to all main attractions (7-10min drive). Taxi rank 1 min walk from Riad. Local shops all next to Riad. Excellent WiFi.

United StatesThe location is great, but surprising -- it's down a long alleyway that's not the most inviting place in the world, but then the doorway opens into the lovely riad. There seem to be a few riads in that same alley, so it's probably not all that unusual, we have just never been to Morocco so everything was new to us.
Breakfast was delicious and the location was really convenient to downtown/the souks, etc. Everything was beautifully decorated and the owners were fabulous about making sure we had everything we needed. There's a lovely pool typical to a nice riad that is right in the center of the building that I managed to step right into it, fully clothed, backpack on my back at the moment of our arrival! The owner was great about it, and we joked about it the rest of the time every I walked past it. There was always someone there when we came and went, and they were willing to help out in any way. The deck on top of the building is also lovely and has a beautiful view out over Marrakech.

CanadaMarch 2 - 13 I had the privilege to stay at this most wonderful Riad owned by SABAH & HAMZA . The staff always go out of their way to accommodate the needs of their guests. Especially RABIAA that will help you with planning trips or having supper from their great kitchen. And if you need help with your daily accommodations LAHCAN is your go to person. Don't have enough words for the praise of the people that manage to please everyone.

United KingdomWe did not have internet access on our phones when we drove from the airport to the riad, which made it tricky to find. If you are making your own way there, be sure to have the navigational tools you need!
This small riad is located in the heart of the medina and is within easy walking distance of all the central sights of Marrakech including the big main square. We had a rental car which we were able to park for 10 euros a day close to the riad. The owners of the riad (Sabah and Erick) and their staff were all really friendly and helpful. Special mention should go to Lahsan, who ministered to our every need, and Rabia, whose excellent cooking of dinner we enjoyed twice. The riad is beautifully decorated and our room was very comfortable. Sabah was most generous to us. If I could give her a score of 12 out of 10 I would! We stayed for a total of 6 nights, with a 4 night excursion to Ouarzazate and Merzouga in the middle.

United KingdomNothing.
We have stayed in many riads in Morocco. This one is the most beautiful. The location was excellent for our stopover between Merzouga and Marrakech. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. And dinner was delicious. We learned that you can fly from London to Ouarzazate with Ryanair. This would be a great place to come for a long weekend.

RomaniaThe breakfast had only sweet things to eat: honey, jam, butter, yoghurt, bread, cake, flatbread, coffee, tea, carton box orange juice. I was expecting some eggs, meats and vegetables.. that was our big dissapointment
The property is new, situated at the edge of medina so it is in a quiet place, easy to get to the attractions. Rooms are newly renovated, bathroom has everything you need.

ItalyNext time we hope to enjoy the heated swimming pool too. We can’t wait!
We had a wonderful stay! Lishan and the whole team were so thoughtful and welcoming. The room was perfect, we are a family of 4 with 2 small kids and we all felt comfortable and perfectly taken care of. The breakfast on the top roof terrace was the best start of the day and the Riad is located just few minutes away from restaurants, shops and the market. We look forward to come back soon!
