Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesNot a dislike so much as a communication issue. At first it was cold in our room, because we were there in the coldest part of the year - and it was colder than normal. I was surprised because the listing said there was heating. However, as soon as I talked to Abdul he explained hearing was by request, and he brought a space heater to our room to warm it up. One minor issue that I didn't think to report when I was talking to Abdul (my fault) is there was a sewer gas smell in our en suite bathroom. A simple shower drain cover solves the problem. My wife's brilliant idea was a ziplock baggie filled with water. I used shared bathrooms in the hallway a couple of times and did not notice the smell there. These are very minor issues, and Abdul is marvelous at responding to everything when asked.
Abdul, the owner, is a gem! He was extremely helpful. He worked previously in another riad, and now rightly takes great pride in having spent the last two years remodeling his family's home to open to the public. He has lovingly done many improvements, including tastefully decorating the rooms with a nod to various locally relevant themes such as copper or woodwork. He helped me find a local traditional hammam to visit, and he helped us to arrange a day trip with a local company that was quite competent (and the guide was joyful) for a price less than the least expensive tour on viator. A big highlight was the amazing breakfast homemade by Abdul's wife. It was a breakfast that would have easily cost 40 or more dirham per person at a restaurant - meaning each day we saved 1/3rd of the cost of the room just in our breakfast. It was large and delicious. In addition, each night when we came back he offered us tea which I gladly accepted. The riad is located in a great location. Close to the Medina wall so you don't have to take your luggage very far. Less than 10 minutes walk to all the sites you'll want to see in the Medina. Yet in an area where it's away from the noise and commotion. I cannot recommend Abdul and Riad dar Karima highly enough.

DenmarkEverything was great.
We can highly recommend Dar Kirami! The riad is so beautiful with a focus on arts, crafts and quality and with rooms decorated by themes. The roof top terasse has the best view in town. The breakfast was amazing. And on top of that the hospitality of our host was outstanding: He helped with recommendations and practicalities, was kind and down to earth, and when we had to leave early in the morning he even packed us a big breakfast to bring along that kept us full all day. If we ever go to Fes again, we are definitely coming back. Thanks for everything :)

United StatesFrom the beginning to the end , everything was fabulous! Our plane got delayed so we didn’t arrive until 4 am but Abdul waited for us outside and made sure that we were well situated. We had such a delicious traditional breakfast with food prepared by him and his wife as well as coffee and tea (made with mint he grows himself!). Three thick blankets which were perfect for the cold winter night & a lovely room overall. Beautiful city view from the terrace and each room has its own history. This was a lovely start to our first time in Morocco as Abdul helped us find spots to explore and even took the time to pin the locations in our phone himself. We were short on cash so he walked us to a local shop to exchange our money and continued to check on us the rest of the day to make sure that we were okay. Originally planned on staying in Fez for only one night but because of him , we plan on extending our stay! Definitely recommend :)

Kirami made us feel immediatelly at home and took care of everything, from transportation to/from riad, shopping and eating at the honest local places and his wife made us a delicious dinner. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back! :)

SpainThe place is very well located to explore “the Medina” you are between ten to 15 minutes of anything that needs to be seen. The house has an interesting structure so you can imagine how families would live around the courtyard and what a domestic house in the golden times of FEZ would look like. It has been renovated, partly with money from Unesco preservations programs and decorated as a homage to well known themes of the city . To me the highlights of this Riad are two. First. It has a wonderful terrace with views onto the old city. If you are not on a rush trip it is worth spending a morning there, enjoying the views, the sun, reading and listening to the fascinating noice radiating from the city mosques in a mysterious surrounding atmosphere at any of the praying times. When you visit the madrazas or fondus usually they tell you to go up the terraces for spectacular views but none of them looked to me as special as from Kirami’s Riad. Second. Abdel and his brother Mehdi provide you with truely loving attention. They serve a nice breakfast and will be at your service with anything you may need. It could be helping collect somebody, tips on places to visit, prepare you a surprise birthday party for your partner, luggage, etc. Their honesty and willingness to please and help are rare. They love their job and are commited to make the best out of their businness so I think it is worth supporting these young entrepreneurs. Place is clean and bathroom showers pour water forcefully. The rest you would have to discover.

AustriaThis Dar is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. So many pretty details and colourful eye catchers! The ownet is very helpful, happy and treats all guests the same, no matter how long you stay. He will help you and make sure you've got everything you need. One couple we met there even learned how to cook a tagine from his wife. It's really worth a stay! Plus, they have the best mint/herb tea there!

SpainOur stay here was incredible, Abdul made us feel like family. I was amazed by the whole riad, every room has so much character and detail. This was my favourite place to stay throughout my whole stay in Morroco. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The rooftop is so cool, a private place to see the whole city. Abdul spent a lot of time helping us with our tour and was so kind in sharing his culture with us. The breakfast was amazing and he went out of his way to help us with any request to make us feel more comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and when I go return to Fez I will definitely stay here again. Thanks Abdul, you and your Riad made a lasting impression on us x

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an amazingly beautiful house (yes, you feel like you are an honored guest in someone s amazing house. It's location is perfect. The house is perfect (each room is decorated differently and with such detail). The rooftop view is wonderful for both sunrise and sunset! The food is AMAZING and way too much. We got an amazing dinner and breakfast with such choices and quality (way more than I would have ever expected). The value here is completely unsurpassed! I only wish I'd thought to ask about a cooking class. Ask when you book add a cooking class! You won't regret it. We hope to visit Fez again and we will most definitely stay here!

I’ve traveled to over 70 countries and stayed in thousands of guest houses/hotels, but I’ve never experienced service as amazing as at Riad Dar Kirami. The owner, Abdo, is one of the friendliest, most genuine and welcoming people I’ve ever met. He truly treated us like family and made us feel totally at home. The interior of Riad Dar Kirami is absolutely spectacular and the attention to detail is like that of a palace. The rooms were spotlessly clean and each of them decorated beautifully. Everywhere you look is just stunning. The view from his top terrace is one of the best in Fes and it’s worth staying there for it alone. All the meals we were generously served were so delicious and satisfying. I guarantee you won’t regret staying at Riad Dar Kirami while in Fes, it was our best experience in the whole of Morocco. Stay here while you can, as once it becomes more well known, it will most likely be booked out weeks in advance.

AMAZING .. A MUST STAY WHEN VISITING FES.. The owner Abdul and his family were outstanding, generous, kind and very helpful. I could rave always about the beautiful old very tastefully renovated Riad. It is a very interesting and lovely property and even has a seperate entrance to the narrowest street in the world. The food was sublime and all cooked by Abdul's wife. There are also a number of little spots through our the house to relax and enjoy a handmade herbal tea or coffee. There is also a rooftop terrace to soak up all of the city views The WiFi was very fast and worked well in our bedroom.

Also, the possibility of getting a great sight view of the city; you can enjoy the taste of village life very close to the main attractions. Its super clean, very friendly atmosphere, its a very new place (just opened) with a good taste of decoration to be found and not to be missed.
