Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaA 'do not disturb' sign would be handy as we were woken by mistake after sleeping late one morning.
The riad is incredible! Great location, within walking distance of key attractions and some lovely cafes and restaurants. Staff are friendly and welcoming, assisting with arranging transfers and providing local knowledge. Breakfast is an authentic spread that will keep you going throughout the day and the rooftop pool area is great for relaxing.

New ZealandMy only comment is that it is over priced. We looked at other Riads while we were there. They were of a similar quality but half the price .
This property is beautiful.

United KingdomThe only thing I didn't like were the city taxes charged daily, but I guess that's to be expected.
My stay at this boutique & SPA hotel was absolutely delightful! Tucked away on a quaint street, it's conveniently close to all the main attractions. I indulged in the pool and jacuzzi after a day of exploring, and the breakfasts were simply sumptuous. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a superior suite, complete with a complimentary bottle of wine and water. The staff went above and beyond, providing helpful tips and assistance throughout my stay. It was a truly memorable experience!

GermanyIt’s a little difficult to excess the hotel with a cab
The staff was super nice and protective , especially since it’s located in the medina, and at night it could be a little scarier, the staff escorted us to the hotel whenever we arrived a little late. The rooms are really beautiful and the whole hotel definitely gave us what we expected to experience in Marrakech!

United KingdomA minor thing, the windows in our bedroom directly faced the entrance of the riad so you could hear people chap on the door to be let in and conversations in the hallway so if you’re not a fan of noise then something to note.
This boutique Riad is absolutely perfect for a city stay, really lovely decorated with bright vibrant colours. Absolutely stunning! The breakfast is amazing and definitely worth it as you get a lot of food. The rooftop is serene and not many guests at all. The waterfall shower was so great and really comfortable robes and slippers. We visited the sister hotel for dinner but much preferred the vibe of this one for sure!

NetherlandsLeaving Morocco and especially the hotel! This is the first time ever that we were sad to arrive home after a holiday. We wish we could have stayed longer...
First of all, the staff at the hotel are THE BEST ❤️. They took care of us very well, they are all super kind and professional. The hotel itself is like dream - even if we never left the building for the entire week we would have had an amazing holiday. The pictures don't do justice to how beautiful this place is. All the craft and details are lovely, we spent some time just admiring the decor. We felt ourselves dropped into a fairy tale straight out of the One Thousand and One Nights every time we crossed the threshold. Our room was perfect, the bed very comfortable, great shower, very clean. Breakfasts were abundant and delicious. We also ordered once from the restaurant and it was tasty. We especially loved the cookies that came with the mint tea (that we ordered at all times of the day). The pool on the roof is heated, so we could enjoy it and swim even in January! We tried the hammam and it was also fantastic. It was our first time in Marrakech and we were told by friends that 2-3 days are enough for the city. In contrast, we stayed for a whole week and it felt short! The city offers many interesting sights to visit (all within walking distance). Just wandering around the Medina and watching craftsmen do their thing is an experience in itself. The city is also well located for day trips; we rented a car (parking available near the hotel), and we visited Essaouria, Ourika and Agafey. It is also easily possible to visit these places with tours that depart from the city. Word of advice: if it is your first time in Morocco, make sure to bring an empty suitcase with you!

United KingdomVisited Marrakesh for the first time and stayed at the Riad. Everything was beyond perfect, the staff specially Hajah, Achhaf and Majda at the reception were super helpful and did everything from booking taxis to recommending restaurants. At night Rahim walked us to the main road or back to the riad which made us feel very safe.

I can’t remember the name because the receptionist during the day was super kind and he went extra mile with his services. The Riad was stunning and the pool upstairs was a great addition to the experience. We had the spa services and we really enjoyed them. Having breakfast on the rooftop was lovely. Great location too.

A truly stunning property and a feeling of luxurious relaxation from the moment you walk through the door. Hotel-style in-room air conditioning was an absolute godsend. The rooftop terrace (especially the pool) was an absolute joy and a great place to cool down and relax before/after a trip to the medina or elsewhere.
