Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesNeed to ring the door to enter so if you're coming and going multiple times per day then you feel like a nuisance as someone must let you in. While the Riad is in the quieter area of the Medina, there's still lots of noise from the alley should your window face it (cats fighting, dogs barking, roosters, etc). Occasionally heard other guests. Stairs are narrow and many so could be an issue for those with mobility issues. Need to pay cash.
Location was perfect - in the Medina but on the quit side of things. Breakfast was good. Loved the interior as it was typical Moroccan. Patio is a great place for breakfast and views. All staff are very friendly.

United KingdomNo major complaints. Bathroom needed some dusting and was a little cramped but room was comfortable and cool.
Staff fantastic, family run, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast good. Dinner provided at request and staff bent over backwards for us given prayers and ramadan to make sure we still ate. Good location. Very kind owner who provided us with bottles of water as we left.

It was in the old town, and at first I arrived at this inn while getting lost, but the inside of the building was clean and wonderful. The owner was kind and lent me a laundry bucket. When I was hanging the laundry on the rooftop, I blew it away by the wind, but the owner was excellent and found it. All the staff were friendly and had a pleasant experience.

This Riad was stunning! Every corner of this place is good for the eye. Location was also near the Tannery, but if you wanna go to the Medina, you have to take taxi that will take around 5mins.

I loved everything about the property! The riad was very tastefully renovated and included its history. It was central and at the end of a main route through the medina which made it easy to find once you got your bearings. Most of all though, I loved the staff. Aya was quiet and reserved, but very sweet and made sure we had our breakfast in the morning. Mahmoud, (with an h) the jack of all trades, was an absolute gem! He makes this riad very special. He’s a gentle soul who has a calming presence in the middle of all the mayhem that is Fez. If you need anything, Mahmoud will organise it; SIMS, tours, cooking classes, taxis, advice, explanations, or just a quiet chat….. I thought he was awesome, as did everyone else I spoke to. Breakfast was delicious; breads, jams, cheese, yoghurt, fresh orange juice and eggs, however you would like them. I recommend the cooking class which I, unfortunately, did not get time to take. I did share the end result of one, however, and it was a restaurant standard feast! Thanks for making Fes such a great experience everyone!!

LithuaniaThe riad was nice, good location although for the first time it's tricky to find it. However, the manager Mahmoud kindly agreed us to meet and walked us through the tiny streets! He was the best manager that we've faced throughout our two weeks trip! He ordered food for us, organized tour in Fes with a great local guide and did so much more for us! We really appreciated it! We also liked riad for its multiple service options - from various tours to hamam and etc.!

United StatesMahmoud deserves a raise! he makes this place better than great. he makes it outstanding!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Kassim. it was so beautifully decorated, perfectly located, we felt so welcome & the staff made us feel right at home. Mahmoud was literally the most magical, nicest human being I have ever had the pleasure of coming into contact with. there was no hesitation when helping with directions, he took us to places and came back to pick us up when we went somewhere & always replied so quickly. we even had a chance to cook with him upstairs on the most beautiful terrace. Honestly, if I would have known how wonderful a visit this would have been I would have stayed longer. I will most definately be back. the aesthetic was so pleasant & Aya is such a beautiful soul. thank you for treating us like family Dar Kassim!

United KingdomEasily the most amazing space we stayed in in all our travels across Morocco. The riad itself is like a work of art, every corner detailed with artwork, colour, geometry, plants, stained glass. The rooms are so beautiful and spacious and the room service is excellent. We were so grateful to have met Mahmoud, who went above and beyond to show not just hospitality, but generosity and real friendship. Aya and the owner were also lovely souls. We were connected with a tour guide (Najib) through the riad and got an insider's eye into Fes' history, spirituality, and exquisite craftsmanship. Most special I think was Mahmoud's cooking class - we went through the souk to collect our ingredients together and then spent the evening making a sumptuous tajine together. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. Thank you, thank you, thank you! 12/10 stars!!

The best thing about the riad is the people who run the place. Everyone was exceptionally helpful . One staff member even helped me look for a specific location in the medina that would’ve been difficult to find by myself.

The property is in a key location of Fes el Bali. It is situated in the medina m, but still very close to the main roads accessible by car, which makes it comfortable when arriving from the airport. The staff was amazing, Mahmod is one of kind. Welcoming, kind and very helpful. He didn’t hesitate in pointing us in the right directions and always provided with great advices
