The area is rather desert from late afternoon and feels a little insecure. The SPA is not included in the price. The room could be cleaner, especially there is somewhat a feeling of dusty.

Very elegant riad damia with exceptional attention to architecture detail the rooms were all well appointed .and the staff was very kind and customer service. It was one of the best places we have stayed in around Morocco, the staff were so nice and very helpful, they serve a delicious food (Dinner and Breakfast), they offer many activities around Fes and outside Fes Medina. Our experience was excelent in this property. Many thanks to all guys there.

The people in the Riad made us feel like in a family. Hassan and azefine and Asmara have been amazing supporting us in any needs. In this way we felt comfortable in a magic city.

Perhaps the shower could be a bit cleaner, and the bathroom sink a bit bigger, but generally the room was very clean.

Stunningly beautiful Riad, like being in a palace or cathedral. The room was sumptuous, beautifully decorated and just an incredible experience to sleep in. We had two bathrooms which was fantastic. The courtyard and hammam are excellent and the staff are wonderful. Huge thanks to the excellent service from Azzedin, Asmaa and Hassan. Azzedin helped us tremendously as a porter and with early breakfasts and info. Asmaa is a lovely host and good with communication and Hassan makes a super coffee! Also this Riad is very close to a Medina gate (Bab Ziat) and has car access, which is incredibly rare in Fez and super helpful if you travel with luggage. Also amazing value for money!

A guide is mandatory for visiting the Medina. It is dangerous to go on your own. We booked a guide through the hotel (Abdul) and the experience was not what we expected. He was initially nice and charming but after the 1st hour the tour became a tourist attraction from shop to shop where they try to scam you. And then after 2.5h he made us stop at a Riad for lunch. We told him we just wanted to have something to drink and keep with the tour. He forced us to order food, which was absolutely overpriced for Fes, and he spent over 1.5h eating and watching sports. We ended up paying for our food and an overrated tip and he didn't pay, so we suspect his food was included in our bill. He then took us to the riad and charged a full day tour instead of a 3h tour, even though we insisted that the tour length had been 2.5h. In conclusion, book a guide on your own with a fixed price and without stops for food.

The Riad was very nice and the service was great. Hospitality was the norm. Ashaa and Hassam were very helfpfull. We left 1 hour before breakfast time and they served a nice whole breakfast anyway with warm food and coffee.

The first night we were in a gorgeous room but the ac was not working properly and flooded the area beneath it. There were also ants in the bathroom. The staff immediately changed us to another room for the second night and the ac in that room worked perfectly.

The manager, Asmaa, is the friendliest and most helpful I have ever encountered. The other staff were so personable and helpful, as well. The lobby is gorgeous and the rooms are large and beautiful.

Roof Terrace is currently under construction so the only place to really enjoy your tea or coffee is in the main lobby, where breakfast is served.

Riad is in an excellent location, 8 minute walk to the Medina. The riad is exceptionally beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is traditional Moroccan (Msemmen, Harsha, Moroccan pancake, jam, honey, butter, fromage, tea, coffee & orange juice) but they will make you eggs upon request. I really enjoyed my stay here.

They even allowed us to keep our luggage in the same room when we left for an overnight trip (we stayed for one night here and went to visit the Merzouga for one night before coming back for another two nights at Damia). The breakfast was lovely, such a nice and spacious room as well! Highly recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Fes!
