Location. The property is very remote. The main town Medina is 30 minutes drive by taxi.

The property and layout was outstanding and the customer service was exceptional.

The only downside is the somewhat weak internet connection. If you rely on it, this could be a slight inconvenience, especially if you need to work.

A True Gem – Pure Relaxation! We stayed at the Palais Anthea Boutique Hotel & Spa in September 2024 and had a wonderful time. It’s a very small hotel with only a few rooms. From the room, you have a direct view of the large pool, and in the morning, you can stroll straight from the bedroom to the pool – a unique experience! The hotel is a true oasis, a real paradise. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The location is outside the city center, which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding. You can easily take a taxi into the city for dinner in the evening. We will definitely return to this little gem!

This boutique hotel is an oasis of calm. If you want to totally relax and enjoy a mix of the mayhem of the city, this is the place for you. You do need to pay for a taxi into the city which may restrict your number of visits, but the calmness and quality of this hotel make up for the distance and cost

Everything was fantastic!! Amazing customer service is an understatement for how amazing the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was up to spec. Myself and my mum truly had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Only way to describe the place is SPECTACULAR. Will definitely be going again and highly recommend everyone to do the same.

Unfortunately the jacuzzi was not working throughout our stay, however they did try to fix it. We found the food choice relatively limited and the hotel is out of reach of other restaurants or delivery service. Be aware that the road approaching the hotel was difficult for our small rental car, more appropriate for larger cars.

Beautiful paradise, absolutely stunning. Lovely, helpful staff. We will definitely be back and 100% recommend this place! The negatives mentioned below are just to make others aware; they did not detract from our amazing experience in this beautiful hotel.

The water in the shower was not very warm for my preference, but for the rest everything was perfect!

This place is amazing! Everything was exceptional and brand new. Beautiful garden and pool with an amazing view to the Atlas Mountains, spacious and clean rooms, excellent service and very attentive staff, who will do anything for you for a pleasant stay! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and it was all very good, especially the dinner. The beef tajine was the best that we had in Morocco. All fairly priced. They also have a big variety of alcoholic beverages, such as cocktails and wine. This place is perfect if you want to escape the crowd of Marrakesh. It has not many rooms, which felt very private. Also, it’s located outside of Marrakesh, a bit middle of nowhere, with nothing in surrounding. So you need a car to get here.

That we can't stay forever....

The place is just great. A dedicated team that takes care of everything that is needed on the place. A wonderful and welcoming manager named Salima who welcomes us with great warmth and close personal attention, recommends us where to go, gives us her personal phone number and explains everything we need to know, is accessible all the time and only busy with how to make our stay there enjoyable. A clean and fun pool, an amazing chef named Saida with the best energies. Amazing food, the most delicious we ate in Morocco, even so the food there is wonderful. The place is excellently clean, teams are constantly maintaining the rooms, the yard and the pool. The place is managed with maximum efficiency and gives you the feeling of a warm and enveloping home. Great beds, the most comfortable. Palais Anthea is a dream location. Even Though I just stayed for 1 night during a business trip it was well worth staying there. You feel like a sultan in his palace:-) Everything is newly renovated and in top condition. The staff is very friendly - Food is great. If you have special wishes like a special sight seeing tour or if you need only a tip for the best clubs in Marrakesh- no problem. If you are lucky - you might also meet the owner Rüdiger who runs the place with German precision and on high standards. I will be back:-)

The staff forget things you ask for and sometimes take a long time to do things. It is good they don’t pester you but a walk round the pool asking if guests want a drink more often would be good. The lobby would feel more exclusive without the large TV.

Nice gardens, feel of luxury in the lobby and rooms which are large. Lots of seating areas for a small hotel.

20 euro for a jacuzzi use per hour! Terrible quality food in general. 6 euro every time you ask for water. Even asking for sparking water at breakfast was 6 euro extra. Poor manners towards women. More responsive to men. Very slow/unresponsive when asking stuff for anything - made apparent that it was a hassle to ask for anything Lies on booking.com - no billiards, no table tennis (we were given to badminton rackets and golf ball to play on an open grass section) Spa very poor Rooms smaller than advertised - a suite is not a suite. One single room. Shower plumbing not working consistent - same with wanting to have a bath - couldn’t! Really disappointed guests Poor breakfast - no choice apart from eggs - fried or omlette. Staff often never actually responded when asked for basic things - coffee etc. - only when money was involved. Asking for signings for bill in the middle of a meal. Far over priced menu - poor quality ingredients - often slightly cold. Cats ate our lunch when it was delivered and we weren’t made aware.

Lovely area to relax - 5 star looks with 1 star reality.

They offered a hair cutting service but still charged me even though the barber didn’t arrive. We spilt water on the sheets and asked if we could get a change or a linen but the manager sent us a WhatsApp message being passive aggressive. On checkout the manager was screaming at us in front of other guests because we spilt something on our sheets. She also tried making us pay for extra linen services. There’s also lots of construction going so very noisy. on. The floors are very dirty in the rooms. None of the staff speak English. We tried to order dinner one evening but the staff were too busy watching the football in the cinema room
